Please change "Waifu" to exactly what I said... Seems people like the idea better than anything else mentioned, I want it looking right.

The concept of an Australian server means we haven't gone to single shard. That's fine for a lobby shooter, but if we want to be able to play anyone anywhere within New Eden, distributed servers based on player region will not do it.

wat? If we have an Australian server (I'm Australian btw), then that means we could only ever fight against other Australians, regardless of where we were in New Eden. That's fine for a lobby shooter, if that's all you want. I'm hoping for Nova to be more like EvE in that we can go anywhere in New Eden and fight anyone who is there, either planetside or on stations or ships, regardless of where they physically live in the world or what server they're connected to. In EvE, the servers host complete solar systems - there are no servers for different real world regions. Yes, that brings in lag, but we already had that with people being able to connect to battle servers for other regions. People who only think in terms of a lobby shooter will not see the point in this. Only people who think in terms of the fully open environment of EvE would see this as important. I know I'm probably in the minority but that's the way it is for me.
