It takes a skilled pilot to be able to maneuver a dangerous battle field while providing a line of fire for his gunners.
I suggest that every time a gunner gets, a kill, instead of +25 per assist, he gets +50, because really its the pilot doing most of the work. Pilots need these extra skill points because it is a very expensive job and we end up with hardly any skill points. I also suggest getting +25 any time somebody drops out of your dropship(with out it exploding). |

You could argue it takes skilled gunners to actually get any kills too :P. Also +25 on disembarkment would just be horribly abused so I don't see it happening unless it's a specific order from the squad leader near an enemy objective or something. |

Maybe not for jumping out but I agree pilots need a way to get sp I mean if they were flying a fighter they would get lots of sp for kills and assist but as a drop ship pilot ur man job is transportation |

How about when ever someone jumps out of the dropship and they get a kill or capture a objective within 15- 30 seconds the pilot gets credit for the kills/assists and the successful capture of the objectives .
Also and as with all vehicles your voice communications is linked to whomever is in the vehicle with you and pilots get unique voice commands. |

Perhaps anytime the Dropship is damaged by the opposite team the pilot earns some SP. Or fly time under fire. If you last 10 seconds while under fire from the other team you get skill points. Then at 15 you get more. This isn't incredibly difficult make an invisible sphere around the dropship that is out wide enough to recognize that ordinance that missed was still intended for the dropship. Every time any ordinance from the opposite team passes through it and hits or misses gives the pilot some SP.
Surly this could be abused by someone but they will be risking their dropship to do it :P.
Doesn't have to be a sphere could just simply be an X that is extended from the front of the dropship to the back.
I've noticed that when I was flying one I got very little in the way of SP so I stopped flying them. |
