... what game would it be?
I always saw similarities between my loadouts and chess pieces.
My Forger was a queen, able to strike far in many directions as long as it was a direct path.
PLC was a knight, able to arc over obstacles and reach obscure locations.
Pawns were blewbs, necessary as fodder and sacrifices.
My King was Melee, able to strike close in any adjacent location.
I noticed this during one chess match with a friend where I was almost eliminated and all I had was my King and a few pawns. Managed to get my King behind enemy lines and terminated all of the enemies one by one with my lone King. Ended in a stalemate, because that's all you can shoot for when you only have a King left. For just a bit though, I felt I was back doing my old shenanigans in DUST.

I could see it fit in the tabletop gaming setting, along the likes of stuff from Games Workshop. If it were a card game then either Pick Up 52 or BS.

This card game was already cancelled, but I think it should be reborn as CCP version of "Hearthstone"(that include content from entire Blizzard world).
This is Skirmish v1.0.

It turned into checkers near the end with the damned myofib spam, everyone jumping around the place.
