Gotta be the "don't walk into the LAV or you'll die" piece of code... Went great with the "near immortal LAV" piece of code.
Since I was too noob at the time to have my own, I really appreciated how overconfident these LAV drivers were, as I could easily taunt them into stupid places, shoot them out of the drivers seat and play at being a total scrub myself!
I remember a time when the other team then pulled out so much AV the frame rate actually died (this was back when it was still mildly stable most of the time) still managed to run half of them down before it exploded... Then I had to go and "acquire" another one. |

You could actually just jump out > spin around > throw uplink > jump back in... If you wanted to do it solo... I still hate those bastardized uplinks though >.< |

Everybody getting banned, this is how it ends!!!
15. Posting about bugs outside of the Technical Support/Bugs channel is prohibited. Bugs and exploits should be reported through the proper channels. Non-exploitative bugs should be brought to the attention of CCP by filing a support ticket by e-mailing [email protected] or posting on the Technical Support/Bugs channel. More information on filing bug reports can be found here. Giving step-by-step explanations of how to utilize/replicate an exploit on the forums is against the rules and should only be done through filing a ticket. Discussions about unverified issues in game can cause unnecessary panic in the community. When there is an issue that the DUST 514 community needs to be aware of, it will be communicated via an official statement from CCP after thorough investigation.

Moorian Flav wrote:This is more of a design mistake than a coding mistake but how many players remember almost killing a player to have them switch suits at a supply depot? I remember a few players who stayed around depots so they could pull this trick multiple times per game. Was this ever addressed or fixed? I don't remember it being fixed. I remember there was talk of a burndown timer being in place before being able to use the depot again but I am pretty sure that never happened. I think the simplest fix would be the suit you are switching from should be lost instead of going back into inventory. In any case, I'd be curious to see if supply depot functionality was changed for Project Nova but I'd guess not. I can only imagine if there was such functionality in EVE. For those that have played EVE, imagine shooting at a tiny frigate for them to go into any station and immediately come back out with a destroyer or worse still, a Titan. I remember running into a Scout that switched out to a Sentinel. Of course, such a scenario cannot happen in EVE but I remember it happening for a long period in DUST. I didn't hang around them for whole matches, but I totally made use of this if I was near one... Was nice to insta-heal... Also after the fix I'd just jump into a free suit if I was about to die.
