I feel like Hilmar never actually played DUST, and if he did, he got protostomped really bad and rage quit. I've never seen a dev put so much distance between themselves and one of their IPs. It's almost comical at this point, if it weren't for how painfully sad it is.
Perhaps one day we'll have somewhere to come home to.

Perhaps one day we'll have somewhere to come home to. The last time i seen a dev that was good at the game they made was a Dice Dev, back in BF3.
I'm not saying he was or had to be good, I'm well aware devs aren't usually good at the games they make. It's just that he gets this look about him when DUST comes up, and he very rarely seems to mention the game. It's like he's allergic.
I can't find the video anymore but someone did a reaction video where at a fanfest he asked "are there any DUST fans out there" and one person went woo (I think it was actually Sorya but I could be wrong)
That look was so ******* priceless.
