So......the day has come. I'm an eve pilot now. I'm looking for some legitimate help in EVE, not some forum troll leading me into nullsec to die. I'm open to joining a corp and all that good stuff but at this point Im still getting my sealegs. Who can help me?
I'm Git Gud and I'm a recovering Dust addict.

If you just want to suck it and see, I would recommend initially staying in hisec, and do lots of missions, align with a corporation that gives you lots of missions of the sort you like, build some really good standing with that corp - my main, Nalianna has a 9.6 standing with Caldari Navy for instance. You will get almost any sort of mission you want at that standing, level 1-4. In the process you will meet people and that will give you all the ideas you need about what player corp to join, etc.
I also recommend you initially do all the tutorials you can. They give you stuff - ISK and ships, as well as some initial training in the types of ships and weapons your race uses. Learn about the attributes for your Pilot and do a neural remap to make your learning faster for the type of training you want to do. With EvE, there really is virtually no end to what you can do, so it's completely up to you to decide. |

There are many corps who are more than willing to help out new pilots i would recommend EVE Uni. Just don't try to do it alone i know a countless number of people who have and just quit because EVE has a pretty large learning curve and is hard to climb by yourself.
If your interested you can join chat channel "Photon Depot" there are good amount of Dust players collecting there and most likely will be willing to answer questions for you.

I don't troll; I tell the truth.
