Allow us to use pictures we choose, even GIFs maybe. Also, a more "freedomized" variant of the signatures would be nice, right now we're pretty restricted. I wish a had a different name... [:roll:]

Alena Asakura Rogue Clones Yulai Federation 1320	Posted - 2017.01.01 06:04:00 - [5] - Quote I would like to see CCP transition to something like the EvE characters, where you can change their features while setting them up, thereafter you can only change superficial things like clothing, hairstyle, eyewear, and tattoos. Change them then take a new profile pic, and we have profiles that we can change at will but will still fit with the CCP/EvE thing of keeping the profile looking like the character.

I wouldn't mind that at all. Sounds cool. To be honest, I was amazed you couldn't do that with Dust. I remember a girl I spoke to on a blog there saying she wanted to have an actual face rather than all the armour. I could only agree with her.

From a lore point of view the reason that was not the case was because technically all mercenaries have the same face. At one point even female mercs had to use the same male template. This was changed because the dissociative effects of having to switch your biological gender was scene as too wide a gap to cross for most, and more importantly to our employers, one that took too long to get accustomed to. Therefore, it became more efficient to simply employ two templates rather than waste time and resources to get female mercenaries to become accustomed to their new bodies. EvE has always had much more security around it that Dust. I doubt you could mod your character in this way. Even if you could somehow cosmeticly change your character in such a way, unless the mod is available to all, noone else will see it....
