This is highly indicative that they have no intention of actually using that name for the finished product, otherwise they would file to protect their right to use it. Additionally this is in line with all of my conversations with the CPM and Rattati in that Nova is entirely a temporary name and is by no means the final title of the product. I was quite pleased when everyone took to the name after I started using it in the #PortDust514 campaign on twitter. Even my little fan trailer the community helped me put together got a nod from Rattati on Skype. Sadly after they announced Nova Rattati did ping me and say they were not going to call the name Phoenix.
