This is so cute. Makes me want to pinch your little Melinial cheak and pat you on the head. "There there, you aren't actually a Sensationalist, you just said a few Sensationalist things. We still like you. It's ok!"
Sorry to be an ass, but the controversy here is so underwhelming that it barely qualifies as content.
I agree with Pokey that some of what you said in your last video was Sensationalist, but it is easy to get a bit sensationalist when you are trying to make a commentary with so little information to work from. I would not characterize you personally as a Sensationalist based on your body of work. I just think you leaned a little that way in that one vid.
You have a long long way to go to reach the heights of sensationalism reached by some of the DUST YouTubers that came before you.
I have to say though, that if "Sensationalist" is the worst insult we are throwing around these days, then this is one dam friendly community!

Showing your age now. I think that is the point. Everyone on here from Gen-X thinks he is overreacting and are probably a little bemused by the whole thing.

If people would look up the facts before pulling wild-ass idiocy about CCP being actively malignant and deliberately farming the DUST players for tears to incite a riot I'd be less of an as*hole. Don't get me wrong, I'd still be an a*shole. just somewhat nicer. Honestly I think we should all be thrilled that people are still interested enough in this IP to be offended or angered by it. If CCP would just sticky a thread with all the information they've disseminated around the community it would probably go a long way towards chilling people out. I'm curious what is more relevant....the Discord chat for Project Nova, or the forums for a game that no longer exists... I have a vague idea what Twitter is, but what is Discord chat?

Seems like something they'd want to mention, if literally nothing else. I'm of the the school of thought that the game was greenlit shortly after fanfest and there isn't really a need to announce it. Not that we wouldn't love to hear that kind of thing, but it's not really required to continue working. They rehired an employee who worked on DUST 514, CCP LogicLoop, specifically to work on project nova. That should tell you something. The only must-have announcement is the alpha and/or beta. My understanding is that CCP is using a gated development process. That is, after each stage of development the game must pass a test (get through a "gate") before funding is approved for the next stage of development.
Player feedback from the demo at Fanfest 2016 was a major gate (test), which Nova passed with flying colors. The only real criticism was that it did not feel enough like New Eden, and that is something that can fixed. So Nova development was given full support for the next stage of Development.
The question is, how many more "Gates" are there before CCP will commit to releasing it? The final Green Light?
Will they wait to see how fans react to the game at Fan Fest 2017? Or will they want to make the grand announcement at Fan Fest 2017?
