Okay, so.
I want you to succeed with this venture. I would love to see a newbie corp in EVE composed of ex-DUSTies.
Please bear that in mind when I tell you that this structure is ********.
Firstly, you have proposed more positions than there are likely to be people. There are not so many people who are likely to join right at the start, and even if you had enough people you'd be at or near a 100% officer ratio if you actually filled the roles which is mad.
You do not need between 5 and 10 fleet commanders. If you manage to form up a fleet with more than 5 people I'll be surprised. If you manage to reach 10 people I'll be stunned. In fact, if you can field a 10 man fleet I'll fund this venture to the tune of 1 billion ISK.
Nor do you need 5 IT people. Website? Do you need a website? Why? This isn't going to be a huge corp and there's almost certainly little to no need for a website. Managing a Discord chat for a small corporation is easily doable by any officer, you don't need dedicated staff.
Many here are going to be new to EVE. Many would love to have a position called 'spymaster'. It sounds cool, right? What do you think people are going to do in this position, precisely? Who do you need to spy on? Why do you need to spy on them? You're going to be starting out in hisec. There are very few threats there by design and initially you're going to be learning the game.
I'm going to save the remainder of my criticisms of your role system for a blow-by-blow account at the bottom of this post.
This model of 'walk in, be interviewed, leave with officer role' is insane. I do not exaggerate. Insane. EVE is notoriously cruel to those who are too trusting and that's exactly what this is. Too trusting.
You are proposing that on the basis of a single interview you will hand over control over corporation finances. You're not going to have anything worth robbing except to be a douche but there are plenty of those around and that level of security is unacceptably poor.
Quote: Director of Human Resources (DHR): This person will be in charge of making sure that jobs get done, and will reprimand people for not doing their job, as well as recommend people for doing their job well. If you like to motivate people using both the stick AND the carrot, this is the job for you.
Director of Recruitment [x2] (DoR): These people will be in charge of recruitment and handling new players such as guiding them to what their role will be in the corporation. They will also be in charge of avidly recruiting new players such as in high sec local or in recruitment chat channels. If you like helping newer people find their way in the big wide universe, this is the job for you.
These are both basically standard officer jobs.
"guiding them to what their role will be in the corporation." Strictly defined roles do not work in EVE, especially for new players. People want to experiment.
Quote:Chief Financial Officer (CFO): This person will be in charge of managing the corporation's finance, such as making sure station rental fees are paid, and making sure that more money if flowing into the corporation than out of it. If you like handling money then this is the job for you! NOTE ABOUT THIS POSITION: If you successfully obtain this position, you will be more thoroughly interviewed than other candidates, because money makes corporations, and money breaks corporations. Other than myself, the CFO will be the only other person with access to the corporate wallet.
Department of Reimbursements [x10] (DRIM): These people will be in charge of reimbursing players who lost their ship during an alliance endorsed event, such as a battle, and if they were flying an alliance doctrined ship. If you like making players feel better about dying, this is the job for you.
How do you propose people reimburse others if your "CFO" is the only other person with access to wallet? You do not need 10 people doing reimbursements, especially not when you probably don't even have 10 people.
Quote: Diplomats [x3]: These people will be in charge of handling matters with other corporations, and will make a wide range decision, from taking care of an accidental friendly fire incident, to forming alliances spanning thousands of solar systems. If you like persuading other people, this is the job for you!
Mostly a standard officer role although you should have a designated point of contact. Three diplomats is likely to cause confusion if you ever actually did any diplomacy.
Quote: Information Technology [x5] (IT): These people will be responsible for managing things like Discord, and the corporation website, and will post related links on the corporation bulletin. If you get hired as an IT, your first job will be making a website, so be warned! If you like handling technology and making websites, this is the job for you.
Entirely unnecessary.
Your war model is also bad. More on that in the next post.
Gentlemen. It has been a pleasure. o7

Quote: Spymaster (SM): This person will be in charge of our spy network, and will handle sensitive information. As such it will be a person I trust greatly. If you think that attacking from the inside is more effective than from the outside, this is the job for you!
Director of Defense (DoD): This person will be in charge of organizing defense of our systems, and will be working closely with the Director of War during periods of conflict with outside groups. If you think that defense is the best offense, this job is for you.
Director of War (DoW): This person will be the Fleet Commander of the Fleet Commanders, and will organize attacks against other groups and will be in charge of making sure the corporation is battle ready. If you think that offense is the best defense, this job is for you!
Fleet Commanders [x5-10]: These people will be in charge of making sure their respective fleet does its job in combat effectively. If you like having the destiny of a couple hundred people at your fingertips (quite literally), this is the job for you.
You have zero experience organising a war or any form of combat in EVE and it shows.
That's alright, though. Nobody does, starting out.
Here's the thing. War in EVE is not a rigidly structured thing.
Having strictly divided roles for offence and defence is going to fail. You're also not going to get anywhere near 5-10 quality fleet commanders, and you don't need that many.
I can't really explain how to run a war, especially in a newbie corp, in passing here. You're going to need someone with experience to run it.
What your wars will most likely look like is a bunch of instalock T3s sitting on your station undock (or at a trade hub) and instantly annihilating any of your ships to undock. There are ways around this (instant undock BMs, interceptors, etc) but that's going to take a heavy toll on newbies. At this stage you shouldn't really be thinking about this. If you're foaming at the mouth with bloodlust I can arrange a friendly wardec with mostly t1 ships but the kind of people you will have simply cannot manage a full on war. You'll get hellcamped and people will quit.
TL;DR:
If you haven't been bothered to read this post I'm doubtful that you'll manage a successful corporation. Either way, though, there is one main point you should take away from this post:
You cannot simply have people sign up for 'trusted' positions. Spend time with them in corp. See who is contributing, leading, and knows what they're doing. Those people will be your officers. Give them the tools they need to do what the need to do. Don't tell them "You're director of defence, you will only do defence of our systems." If someone knows what they're doing, give them space to do it. This role structure you've dreamed up may sound cool on paper but it is stifling.
You would be better served posting a general recruitment message. I doubt the mods (or mod, singular, as I assume CCP Frame is the only person still moderating) will mind. This is not a gigantic community and there is space for what you have proposed.
I wish you luck. I'll be following developments here.
