Oh dear, I don't know whether I want to join a corp named Honk! :)

For the record I would have joined Legion of Phoenix. I thought it was classy and had an obvious and profound link to Dust.

I don't see it that way. I wasn't a member of the corp to start with and if I had the option of joining a corp named "Honk" I would probably not, unless I had a very good reason to.

At the moment, Jenquilla is not in a player corp, so it certainly would be good to join, if only for that reason. I remain reserved about the name. I would have selected the name myself rather than asking for votes on suggestions. That just leaves it too open to abuse I think. But time will tell.

There's nothing stopping me joining for an interim period if that would be better than helping as an unaligned clone.

One suggestion I would make - EvE corps have a corp channel, as did Dust. For players who aren't members but who are affiliated in some way, you might like to have a separate player channel to keep in contact. There will be from time to time many players who want to help out or communicate but don't want to join the corp. A player channel is the obvious way around that.

There is no corp named "Honk". There are corps named things like Honk Inc. HONK HONK BEEP BEEP, beep beep honk honk, etc.

If you want the corp Honk you need to set it up pronto. As soon as people know you're going to set up a corp named Honk, they'll set it up and make you pay them for it.

Implied in this is that I could set up the corp for you and transfer it to you when you establish an EvE account, if you don't already have one.

OK, I've tried to create a corp called Honk. It's already taken.

I can't find such a corporation in the search, so I can't explain why it's taken but it simply won't let me create it.

You're welcome to try yourself when you get into the game or if you had a different name in mind I could try that.

I also tried Honk! but it complained about an illegal character (presumably "!") in the name....

Would you like me to try Beep Beep? There are already names like that, I might add.

Honk Honk Beep Beep is already taken. So is Beep Beep Honk Honk. Seems like a lot of people have decided they like these.

I can keep trying combinations of both if you like or you could give me a different name.
