I played EVE already so I know a bit about it so I'd be willing to help... ...if there is scheduled fleeting. That would be the only benefit I would see to coming back to the game. Besides, the ships available to F2P players are not that threatening to long time EVE players but get 10 or more with fits and pilots that know what they're doing, and you may see some vets run away. Oh... And prepare for war as there are a ton of "high sec mercs" that love attacking noob corps. I see "high sec mercs" loving F2P players and in turn turning quite a few potential subscribers away.

If I can get access to my old EVE account, I can possibly get you some free T1 frigates, destroyers, and cruisers as I had quite a few sitting in several locations. It's not much but free is free. I mostly produced by Hek though which could end up being far from where you plan to call home for the corp. Anyway, looks like I have some stuff to look into.
*UPDATE: According to the Clone State FAQ, I can log into my previous account as a Alpha Clone. Therefore, I should have access to all my T1 frigates, etc I previously produced. I am now just unsure if I will still have the skills unlocked to produce any more ships. I guess I will see in November.

I am undecided in Corp Name Poll. I liked Sons of Dust best so far but thought something like Descendants of DUST would have been better. Besides, I knew a few female DUST players and sure they wouldn't appreciate "Sons of DUST". That, and I knew a few male players that played female characters.

The worth of my materials and blueprints far surpass my actual ISK. I was primarily an ice miner wanting to go full industrialist. Without established contacts with cheap moon materials though, I could not build T2 ships like I wanted. It would cost twice as much to produce than it would be to just buy the ships outright. That was one thing that frustrated me about EVE. I then moved on to missioning; mostly transport missions through hostile areas. It was quite the rush for a while as I had some sweet transport fits. Anyway, I am hoping to put my previous build up to good use in November.

What are you going to do after establish the corporation ? Not meaning to speak for OP but it appears the mere purpose is to simply have a common EVE corp for previous DUST players to experience EVE together. As corp recruits will be from DUST, I would guess PVP and attack missions would be primary focus but I am just guessing. In truth though, if there are a lot of players that get involved, we could branch into multiple areas of play although the Alpha Clone tree appears to be quite limited.

Hi again. I had not replied in a while to the latest Honk threads but I still plan on helping out come November. In fact, I just got back into my previous account. Until then, I doubt I will have much to say. After all, it has been a while since I played EVE. As I couldn't remember my EVE character name, I am sure there are other things I have forgotten about EVE.

My EVE character is not currently active. I will be coming back as an Alpha clone. I am not going to pay CCP for the lack of info on Project Nova. Besides, I am only coming back to put my assets to good use as they likely would not be used otherwise.

Just wondering... Could you put scheduled fleeting on EVE Gate Calendar so can be seen by all corp mates? You don't have to say where from because I know you worry of spies but stating the time and purpose (exploration, missions, etc) would be great. That way if there is any interest by any corp member, the other details can be found out in game. Just a thought.

For those getting into EVE, here's a few EVE tools I remember: http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map https://zkillboard.com/ https://evewho.com/ The dotlan map and other stuff might not make sense at first but you'll figure it out once you start playing around. Speaking of playing around, again, watch those lowsec bottlecaps.
*UPDATE: I forgot the following one even though I mentioned it earlier: https://gate.eveonline.com/ This is for corp and player communication along with other stuff like reading EVE mails outside of game. The tool is pretty useful if you player EVE and have a job where you are on a PC a lot.

FW is okay but doubt everyone in corp will be great with warring for a certain faction as that rarely occurred for a DUST corp match while in EVE it is more of a full time thing. I did play a bit of FW solo (as none of my corp mates or contacts were even interested). I would advise against trying to FW solo in EVE as there are those that patrol FW systems just to get some easy kills.

The sooner you relinquish your primitive notions of putting the interests of NPC faction above those of your own corporation the better. Players/preachers like you make me apprehensive about going back to EVE at all. And just FYI; not every corporation has the best intentions; there are plenty out there that merely want to sit back and tax its members. I was part of one such corp at the time I tried FW in EVE. Thanks for the sermon though.

I was planning on getting involved with H.O.N.K. but been pretty busy with real life lately. The little time I've had for gaming I've spent on Battlefield 1 as I recently reconnected with a few DUST players on it. Anyway, I am on vacation next week where I will have some extended down time to finally get on EVE. I hope everyone in H.O.N.K. is having fun with EVE as that is the true factor whether or not players will keep playing. Like DUST, don't sweat dying that often and definitely don't sink all your ISK into a single fit as you are almost guaranteed to lose it.
