Awhhhhh shucks, you seem to be pulling in some good interest now. I have a few eve accounts I'll throw into the pot of it helps keep the community together. I make a fair amount of isk off incursions on my main account too so if you let me join I can help out a lot with financing the newb ships and jackpot program. Don't get me wrong, I'm not eve rich by any means, but I'll have a hell of a lot more money than the new guys joining. I've also been playing eve for about 5 years now on and off so I have a fair amount of experience with things like fleet ops, exploration, mining, PVE ect.....

I make about 60-80 million isk an hour. I spend most of it, but if I save up I can use it well

Nomed Deeps wrote:The worth of my materials and blueprints far surpass my actual ISK. I was primarily an ice miner wanting to go full industrialist. Without established contacts with cheap moon materials though, I could not build T2 ships like I wanted. It would cost twice as much to produce than it would be to just buy the ships outright. That was one thing that frustrated me about EVE. I then moved on to missioning; mostly transport missions through hostile areas. It was quite the rush for a while as I had some sweet transport fits. Anyway, I am hoping to put my previous build up to good use in November.
That's good! We have a fair amount of experience across different fields then. It would be cool if we could get a decent sized PVP Corp with regular low sec incursions

In looking forward to this, I won't be able to regularly play until the 23rd-24th of October when I'm back home but I'm looking forward to help train all the new guys with the basics and what not.

IMPORTANT FOR NEW MEMBERS: https://m.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/50ikm5/spreadsheet_alphaclone_skills/
That is the skills your alpha clone will have access to. As far as weapons and ship fittings go it appears to be racially based. So it's important you realize what race you want to play as because it'll largely determine the play style you'll have.
Sadly, alpha clones can't to Planetary Interaction which would have been a good source to passive income. BUT, you can mine in mining frigates (a terribly slow source of income). But since alpha clones are free, how you spend your time making isk doesn't matter so much. That being said, it appears you can do exploration! Which can be very lucrative! You can also go as high as cruiser class ships which is also very interesting as you'll have a fair amount of flexibility in the game.

You can also go as high as cruiser class ships which is also very interesting as you'll have a fair amount of flexibility in the game. Let's see, that means you can probably do level 2-3 missions. Level 3 missions would be tough though. But it can be done. And you'll make decent money doing it too. Wow these alpha clones seem pretty decent. Not very exploitable, but you'll be able to dab your legs into most of the major parts of the game. I think if you guys get trained well enough, you may even have fun! So that's exciting! Very loosely, in answer to the issue of what skills and ships each race uses, they are roughly: - Amarr - laser based weapons, drones and heavy armour - Minmatar - artillery/projectile based weapons and armour/shield mix with speed tanking - Gallente - plasma based (hybrid) close-range weapons with heavy use of drones and fast repping armour - Caldari - plasma based (hybrid) long-range weapons and missiles with shield tanking and kiting tactics If any of those grab you, choose it and train it up - you can always have more than one character (up to three) and try out each of three races. Tactics are everything in EvE, so each race can be superior in a fight with the right pilot.
Good catch, I forgot to mention the details on each race. I'd also add that each race has different weapon sub-types that match different play styles. So for example, among all the amar lasers you'll have different turrets, crystals, and ships that will be used to customize the way you do damage. So you can have long range, short range, medium range play styles.
However some races are simply better at different play styles. Like, you can mount lasers on a caldari ship, but it probably won't be very good/efficient. But if you like drones doing your fighting for you, Gallente is an excellent choice

I was previously with The Southern Legion (AU/NZ based corp) and I spent a great deal of time trying to help new Dust members to learn the basics of Eve Online.
I very much enjoy helping new players and I think your corp is what I have been searching for, though im more interested in membership over being a director. My main concern is what the main time zone will be. I am Australian and I normally play a few hours before DT and sometimes an hour or so afterwards.
I am by far no expert but I know enough to help the new guys get a good start in New Eden. I started in Wormholes then when Dust came out I was in the fight for Molden Heath. I have been playing Eve since 2010 and played Dust from closed beta. I suck at Eve Pvp but always willing to try.
I guess I should have sent this via the email but was kinda hoping CCP still reads these forums and can see we are all still eagerly awaiting some sort of news on Nova
Metallibanga - 93mil SP - 90% Pvp skills MURDERFAC3 - 79mil SP - 90% Pvp skills Samsquamsh - 29mill SP - Industrial/Trader pilot 3 low SP trading toons - T0kiWart00th, Sgt Simmo and Maltese Magician

Nomed Deeps wrote:Just wondering... Could you put scheduled fleeting on EVE Gate Calendar so can be seen by all corp mates? You don't have to say where from because I know you worry of spies but stating the time and purpose (exploration, missions, etc) would be great. That way if there is any interest by any corp member, the other details can be found out in game. Just a thought. I ask as I do not have a ton of time for gaming but could work in scheduled fleeting if I know ahead of time.
WE can definitely do that. We plan to have a lot of scheduled events assuming we can pull together enough people.

I'm not all that great with ISK generation at that level without farming my life away all month lol, but there's time to save.
I'm not someone to rely on or anything but if I were around I would gladly lend my blade o7

Actually, Blaziken, how far are you willing to go with this? Engineering Complexes are coming out with that expansion, and the Blueprints will be seeded before the expansion drops. Have you considered building one of those to use as a base of operations?
If we could use donations or other means to scrape together enough ISK to build a Medium to build ships from it could allow us to just roam around not giving a **** about trying to find replacement ships. Obviously there'd be some of us that would need to work on coming up with income, but with enough members I don't think we'd have a problem.
I'd gladly help contribute time to this project. ****, maybe we could get really crazy and try and set up an Azbel(Large) in Molden Heath? Get our old "stomping grounds" back? You realize if you bail on =NT= I'm going to go on walkabout of the North and probably join some unsavory characters, right? Blaziken was talking about a possible Alliance in Discord. Might be able to convince our CEO to jump on new project with the chance for lots of PvP.
We will gladly accept any and all former dust members. Our intentions are to have frequent and scheduled roams as well as exploration expeditions into WH space and Null Sec. We especially need as much experienced players as possible in order to better train the large amount of new players were going to have.

I did play a bit of FW solo (as none of my corp mates or contacts were even interested). I would advise against trying to FW solo in EVE as there are those that patrol FW systems just to get some easy kills. The sooner you relinquish your primitive notions of putting the interests of NPC faction above those of your own corporation the better. Players/preachers like you make me apprehensive about going back to EVE at all. And just FYI; not every corporation has the best intentions; there are plenty out there that merely want to sit back and tax its members. I was part of one such corp at the time I tried FW in EVE. Thanks for the sermon and being a d!ck though. BTW, I was not the one the brought FW up; you did. I was just replying with my FW experience in EVE.
We probably won't focus on FW early on. We want to focus training the new members as quickly as possible. Will be doing that by actively communicating in discord as well as going on scheduled roams and Wormhole expeditions. The fastest way to learn about the game is to play the game. FW can be a good content creator, but my experience with it has indicated to me that it'll probably be beyond our means early on. We might dabble in it a little bit later on for some fights. But I can't see anything good coming out of it early on when most are members won't even understand basic mass fleet commands

Of course, if we get sizable enough and the Corp members demand it we might decide to dabble in it. But at the end of the day, there's tons of other ways to find good fights. Will just have to see what amount of players we get on the 8th

XANDER KAG wrote:So now I'm curious, has anyone calculated yet how long it would take to get the skill points to learn every skill an alpha clone can learn?
Also I may join up OP, If I can ever remember to start my trial account lol.
It would take just short of a year. The true time varies depending on what neuro implants you have, but 5 million SP takes about 5-6 months in EVE for an OMEGA clone, and an alpha clone learns at half the speed so it would probably take about a year to learn them all for an alpha clone. (I think). Unless your allowed to buy skill injectors and use them. You can buy them in game for 500 million isk. But if your buying skill injectors, why aren't you just buying plex instead?
