That's basically about how Project Nova has been set aside entirely because the entire studio is working on an uncomplicated mobile game, right?

EVE ships are big. Really big. the possibility for large spaces is very reasonable. EDIT: Another good one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8Ke1P3m4nU Yeah, recall that the FanFest demo was in a Carrier. They obviously intentionally made the map tiny in order to make sure the 12 players the demo supported didn't get lost, but a Carrier is over 2 kilometers long. That's a HUGE play space.
Maps inside of Capital ships will likely have nice open hangars to give you those long sight lines you want.

And while I don't think Citadels have a specified race, the interiors could certainly be thematically changed to show off different races/factions. Even if it's something as simple as banners hanging from the walls being changed Yeah, Citadels are all produced by Upwell Consortium, which is independent of all four nations and has their own visual style.
