Honestly no war in Dust was noteworthy except Caldari Prime where a Titan fell into a planet but that was scripted If they do a better job with Planetary Conquest this time around, then the wars in Nova will at least be better than in DUST.
I would like to see the location of a district and the planet it is on have varying strategic importance. I would like to see the economic importance of each district vary to make some districts more valuable than others.
I want to see out of the way or isolated districts/planets that a smaller Corp can defend easier. I want to see less valuable districts that a small Corp can hold because they are not worth the larger Corp's efforts. And of course I want to see those Economic hubs that the big boys fight over.
I want to see profit from a district require effort from the Corp members (scavenging, or resource extraction activities) so that holding more districts than your Corp can make use of is not profitable. This would encourage some elite corps to accept non elite members and provide ways for non elite corp members to provide a valuable contribution to the Corp. (Worker bees.) This would encourage other elite corps that want to remain small and elite to stick to only holding a small number of Districts. With Corps holding less districts, you would have more Corps active in PC, which would make more dynamic wars.

Honestly no war in Dust was noteworthy except Caldari Prime where a Titan fell into a planet but that was scripted They should eventually be almost equally as important if nova follows the same development path as eve and the two games are eventually fully integrated. Eventually there should be a time where nova battles will have large impacts on the outcome of eve battles. If your talking about massive 3000 man battles then probably not. But if your talking about thousands of dollars being lost then yeah I could see it happening if nova has a linked market to eve Please don't say thousands of dollars lost when we are talking about EVE it makes me cringe but yes in talking about fights where billions of isk are on the line Saddly though I doubt CCP will give us Shiny new Isk sinks in Nova Back in 2012 I calculated that raising enough ISK to buy a Titan by selling PLEX would have cost twice what I paid for my first car. I am not sure of the market value of PLEX and Titans currently, but I suspect they are still worth a few thousand dollars (US).

Tired of FotM chasers; force people to have one specialization and stick with it, or stay as a jack-of-all-trades. No more of somebody having a completely different specialization every build. Or just have a slow progression with no respecs so you can slowly max yourself out in every role you want but you can't bail out of a role. Throw in some kind of VR mode where you can try out gear to see if you like it, and we'll be golden. I liked the idea someone had of a mechanic to siphon skill points out of one skill and into another over time for a respec, so that a respec would take a few weeks rather than being instant. Maybe tie rate of skill point transfer on the respec to your rate of skill point gain. So for every skill point you gain, 3 skill points of your skill transfer go through.
