Why does nothing satisfy my gaming needs since Dust ended.
Nothing compares, even Eve can't give me the same level of enjoyment.

It's after dust dies that we realize what we were playing. We have all been playing an amazing game and it leaving us has left us empty. There is no other game similar to dust, or any game in generall that I would ever play than dust. I NEED IT BACK!!!
It didn't matter if it was glitchy, slow, etc. it was a special game like no other.
I miss my Gallente suits, skins, weapons, and vehicles.

I would not go that far... but I must admit, the last video game I played was DUST 514.

No Man's Sky is getting a lot of positive press. It's not at all in DUST 514's niche, but it's a good game if you like exploration.
Nothing quite scratches the Dust itch though.

World of Tanks is a great game... try that maybe? You know, to pass the time while we wait for Nova?
For some reason I fell in love with tanks...especially the ones with BIG guns. 
Nothing feels better than shoving a 170mm shell into the enemy tank's face, along with the amazing firing sound.

As you know, I went back to EvE. I'm an EvE long-liner, so it should have been an easy transition. I didn't make it. Still just can't get the enthusiasm for it that I used to have before Dust....
I actually don't think EvE can give the same level of enjoyment, at least if you're into Dust - they are two very different games and appeal to completely different types of gaming mentalities.... |

Yup same here. Payed for a 6 month sub on Eve and now can't seem to get into it.

lol yeah, I saw you there! :)
It takes a great deal of tenacity to get into EvE. You have to do the missions, get into the swing of the PvE stuff, learn to use your ships and weapons and build your skills and experience, then you need to go to lo or nulsec and do PvP, but only after you've figured out your gear and skills. You can play for a decade and still not max out your skills but six months should give you a bit of a start.... |

Try some Helldivers. It's a top down shooter, but with 4 man teams on comms and plenty o' carnage for all. It held my interest for several months. Maybe it can tide you over. |

You really do have too much focus on PvP and PvE. The EvE environment IS Environment v Environment. The PvP and PvE you do within that is your Player contribution. But the base environment is completely EvE. Why can you not see that?... :)
Besides which, I've actually seen it written EvE or I wouldn't be writing it that way myself. |
