What is wrong with an M-I Scout is that it's an M-I Scout. C'mon, now... But you just listed everything that is right with the M-1 Scout.

The M-I couldn't fit jack due to the abysmally low PG count, even with all relevant skills maxed.
Allow me to introduce myself.
I started playing Dust since Feb 2013, at which point I identified as Scout and Minmatar, even when only Gal Scout suits existed.
When the game released, I started playing the M-1.
Throughout my years playing, I spent 95% or more of my time playing the M-1 Scout.
I rarely used M/1 and Mk.0s because I was too suicidal to make that cost effective.
I even bought the Quaffe M-1 when that was available.
If there are people who played the M-1 Scout more then me, they are few.
So Yes, I M*therfucking mained the glory that is the M-1 Scout.

Joel II X wrote:Oh... Umm... *whispers* it was still a horrible suit, though* How'd you fit it, anyhow? I'm genuinely curious. CR+KN, and plenty of EWAR to my take up the PG? I had a Quafe M-I as well with Quafe CR and Quafe NKs on it, and some militia BPOs, and I remember I couldn't for any equipment or grenades because of the PG. I think I had several fits depending on the situation.
I had a medium EWAR as a main, with a gimped suit at full dampening if the need arose.
I also ran dual side arms, Std Flaylocks along with Ishukone NKs, at least until the medium frames got an EWAR buff and made them better Shotgunners (Shotgun Scouts were the reason for the Flaylocks). I ran little in the way of HP enhancers, with maybe one Adv Shield Enh, and almost never any armor.
When they introduced the limited tiercide, I used the extra 2 slots for CPU and PG enhancers. They helped make the suit easier to fit.
I liked that the suit had to make sacrifices, that was the original intention behind the designs. I think it was the other suits that were too easy to fit that was the problem. There was little to no sacrifice, no having to choose between this or that.
I hope they are able to take the spirit of that into Nova, with better execution.
