hm. grats!
Don't get her pregnant before you have a job with insurance? Try to pay attention in college. Don't put sh!t on credit! Jelly will actually keep outside of the fridge way longer than you would think. Same for salsa. If your dog continually gets UTIs and your vet dismisses it, find another vet. It's probably bladder cancer. Don't sleep on the couch on a regular basis. Your back will punish you years later. You're young. Start a retirement fund now. The older you get, the faster time seems to pass. I am NOT exaggerating. Keep up with the good friends. Screw the rest. Relationships are based on compromise, else it's just a one-way street. Be humble? lol. Sooner or later you will get old and the younger generation will begin to **** you off the way you are probably pissing off my generation now. Lion King stuff, that. Circle of life and all. Look up Lion King. Left lane is for passing. Especially if you're asian. Blinker first. Then brakes. Especially if you're asian. uuh...
If you have a dream, make time for it. Otherwise, the day-to-day routine will take over and before you realize, a decade or more has passed and you're stuck in debt, 2 divorced angry wives are leaving cryptic death-threats on your mobile, kids that you've forgotten exist are asking for money, and a cat that keeps vomiting meow-mix into the carpet for all to see. Then you have a stroke and have to pee through a tube till even the Hospice forgets about you. hm.
yeah.

Congratulations, you've completed the minimum educational requirement. I've still got a year left and if all goes well I should be able to join the Marines after my immigration paperwork is sorted.
Advice:
College, don't skip it! More and more jobs are requiring it, and it's a greater loss to not go to college than to pay for it.(2 years community, 2 years University) Take a Financial Course, know to budget, invest and save. Get good credit and connections with banks. Don't make your hobby your job, make your job your hobby! First few years don't live alone, find roommates or live with parents. Invest! Make your money grow. Have good connections with local community, neighbors, cashiers, officers etc. Careful what you intake and the crowds you're with. Don't be an assh*le!

True story. I use my credit card for EVERYTHING but I never put more on it than I have in my checking account.
Hell I have mine set to automatically pay 100% of the balance at the end of the month, so as long as I never exceed what I have in my account, I can treat it like my debit card but it builds my credit (and get 1.5% back on everything I buy)

Making you feel old?
Ive met people that have told me I look like I'm 24+. I'm only 16.
I have a decent beard. (Haven't shaved in a month, usually shave every Wednesday). I have hair EVERYWHERE. I am a dam.n super aging gorilla. I am seen as a very mature and serious person irl, which emhances my "oldness" to other people.
5 minutes feels like 1 minute to me. Time is going by too fast. I'm also obsessed with soccer and news

I'm 28 and people typically peg me to be around 18-20, so I have the opposite problem it seems.

You should definitely use credit but absolutely without compromise do not spend more than you can pay off at the end of the month and DO pay it off at the end of every month.
I tell most people to only put food and gas on credit as those get some decent rewards depending on your card and you know you are not going to eat or drive yourself into a giant debt hole. As tempting as it will be when you want a new PC or console or whatever do not buy it until you have the money to pay for it when the bill comes due. Once they get you into the interest spiral you will lose a lot getting back out of it.
The sooner you start building history the better off you will be when it comes time for big purchases like houses and cars.
I thought since I could just buy what I wanted with cash I should stay away from credit completely but that seriously bit me in the ass when it was time to get credit. I even had an apartment refuse me when I offered to pay 6 months of the lease on the spot because I was 25 years old and had a blank credit history.

Whaaaaaat? Damn. I mean, credit or not, that's half a year of prepaid living, more than enough time to et ready to move out of you can't pay or anything, but yeah, OP manage credit wisely. As my AP NSL teacher has told me (and he does), use it for necessities and needs (like food and gas, make a budget plan). Don't use it for expensive wants.

Yea it was a tough lesson on what I guess you could call over managing credit. A few weeks after that I got a Capital One secured card and worked my way up there adding a few credit cards and spending and paying off each month to now where I just got approved for a 55k car loan at 2.5% interest.
That's the biggest lesson I would pass on to anyone is that when you have a good cash flow going use it to build up credit because you never know when you will need it. As the old saying goes, "It's better to have and not need than need and not have."

That's the problem with profanities. They are so broad and interchangeable that it becomes difficult to get your point across.
Am I right that what you are trying to say is, "don't put unnecessary junk on credit" or am I still misinterpreting your statement?
