Unfortunately I'm in south-eastern Virginia and the nearest VR locations are all the way up in Newport News.
There aren't any tolls involved, but that's still a hell of a long distance. Also I'll have moved by the time they start.

That's only like 30 min away from me but since they just don't seem interested in selling in any timely manner I have decided I am just going to stay away until I buy used. If I have already had to wait many months whats a couple more?

about 20 minutes away for me, which is nothing. I played an old build of Valkyrie on the DK2 back at EVE Vegas a few years ago so I'm curious to see how the PSVR looks since its stats are similar if I recall.

From what I hear the PSVR is more comfortable for long term play.
I feel like the Playstation Store is going to have the smallest selection of VR games since Oculus backed down and is again allowing games to go back and forth between the Rift and the Thrive. It doesn't help Sony that the cost of entry to PC VR just got slashed by a huge margin since cost of etry was basically their biggest advantage.

Has an ideal fit for someone with glasses.
I'll wait to see what someone does with hacking the PS:VR with compatibility for PC. It's not very ideal to view VR **** from a PS4 (and I don't have a PS4).

It'll happen, which is what Im banking on. Gives me the widest range of options to work with if PS4 exclusives come down the line.

That would be the hack of the ages there. The PSVR will be made to communicate only with the PS OS meaning someone would need to write fully custom drivers as well as likely emulating the PS4 handshake with the external box on the PSVR.
It will be interesting to see how this battle plays out. I will likely rent the PSVR once I get my Oculus setup just to compare as I have seen a lot of conflicting information. Overall cost of entry being all brand new still puts the PSVR at about $500 cheaper to get in but that difference is very close to getting wiped out as well.
