https://youtu.be/exquFj5_Ie0 Infinate Warfare review used as a way to explain just what features I would like to see in NOVA and integration between EVE: Online, Valkarie, and NOVA all used together to raid starships and Citadels on EVE online. I promise this is worth your consideration even if you think I'm a complete idiot.

What is impossible now is quickly becoming possible by developers all the time. I get what your saying and thinking but I was told before in a post that NOVA shouldn't be in VR because that wouldn't work and now SW:Battlefront is going to have a VR space battles on an MMO PVP game. EVE is old and Valkarie is too round based to be around forever so I think CCP should shoot for the stars. Too many Dusters want Nova to release tommorow, I don't care about that, I want a great game that blows minds, CCP will have to decide what they wanna make.
Implementing it might not be easy and some features might be impossible, but we had OBs in DuST and they came from EVE pilots playing a decade old game. Nova may never get released and if Valkarie fails CCP might quit trying to develop triple A titles altogether but they had enough vision to try and make DUST with integration in New Eden and as a F2P title on a console so they might still be willing to try something big and different.
If you havn't seen Angels Fall First(early access on steam) they are already doing alot of the things I talk about in the vids. Take command of a capital ship, leave the captains chair and go get in a fighter, fly to the enemy ship then fight PVP in it to try and gain command or blow it up. It kinda looks a little planetside ish in space but it still has lot's of potential. So CCP might actually be behind the curve already and if Nova is just a round based shooter with nothing more I doubt I'll play it much.

Pokey Dravon wrote:CCP shot for the stars with DUST and ended up face down in the dirt. I think they may take a dirtnap again if they try and make COD or BF3 in space. The VR thing being big could help them take a chance, and I been saying since before the release of Valkarie that so much was tied up in it's success. Then this year at fanfest they seemed quite focused on VR with 2 games and a tech demo Tron-like game all VR. Of course I think if they don't make a new EVE soon someone will make something like it or based on it. 13 years is a long time and even with yearly expansions I still think something new could take a huge bite out of their playerbased if someone makes something new and shiny but EVE-like. Just thinking ahead, but if Angels May Fall wasn't a PC game I would probably been playing it daily like I use to do with DUST. It already has a lot of what I want in NOVA and is only in early access. I just hope CCP tries to make something great not good and I think they really didn't understand how to code for the cell processor when they made DusT. They got to fugure out a way to keep EVE pilots interested in playing a FPS and Valkarie/Gunjack players are already playing a FPS in starships so they got some reasons to make NOVA besides the thousands and thousands(hundreds and hundred) of Dusters longing for more clones in space.

I'm someone who ha had motion sickness problems in the past, but I just see what people are already doing with it and have a hard time believing it won't be a thing. People are going to strongly want FPS in VR and demand usually speeds up the type of tech advancements that are needed to make something. I don't think you think it will never be done so a company now steeply involved in VR like CCP with Valkarie a flagship launch title on Occulus and though it didn't get the same love as the last 2 E3s PS VR has to be atleast considering trying it on NOVA (if they actually intend to develop a full game out of NOVA, not sure a lot of things could factor into that). I would hope if they think they can make a great groundbreaking title they would have the patients and not rush another same old FPS out in the F2P PC market. As far as EVE I greatly enjoyed my limited time in EVE but don't usually really like gaming on my laptop. I think EVE looks "old" though and with huge releases of Sci-fi spaceship exploration games coming (Star Citizen, Dreadnaught, No Man Sky, Angels fall first, and some even in VR) that EVE has some new competition in the field and verses some very highly anticipated titles. Star Citizen itself may be the most anticipated game ever on PC, and No Man'sSky is like the game I've always dreamed of since I was a child wondering what it would be like to travel the galaxy. An updated EVE could add feature like procedural generation and realistic looking ships. To me it didn't bother me that the ships on EVE looked a decade old too much, and it's not like Skyrim where you can download a new textures mod and all the sudden your clone looks like a real person not a character from Everquest II. Anyway I get what your thinking but I just want to seem em do something more.

I was just really shocked when I saw what they were going for, I havn't been into COD since the 1st one on ps3. I do really suggest anyone interested in what NOVA may be check out the trailer which is what I'm commenting over in my vid. And, If you havn't seen Angels Fall First it's only 18$ US on early access on Steam for people wanting something to tide them over till or if ever NOVA actually comes out.
