Main Mei, but occasionally use Widow, and 76. I don't really have any trouble with them, they're just annoying that's all. NO ONE IS SAFE FROM THE ICE QUEEN! EDIT: Doesn't help when a defense hero has to push for a point, though. Damn blueberries follow me through every game, I swear.
DUDE. Have you ever tried advancing with Hanzo? Holy crap, it feels almost impossible. So I feel you.

Joel II X wrote:You guys tried the new sniper? I think her name was Anna? To tell the truth, I haven't played much since the first month, but I still get on from time to time. I have played as Ana. I hated the idea of having another sniper on the team, but competitive Overwatch makes sure that if you aren't a first rate sniper that you will have absolutely no fun. To top it off Widowmaker was nerfed so she wouldn't be as good on attack.
Ana is the only support I play and she is extremely hard to use correctly. You have no mobility and you are still responsible for keeping up with your teammates to heal them. Her ultimate is also very circumstantial because it boosts only one other player on the team. It is hard to actually snipe enemies however because you don't do headshot damage and if your teammates are anywhere near your scope you will automatically heal them instead of hitting the enemy.
It's pretty cool that I can put people like Genji, Roadhog, Soldier 76, Reaper, McCree and Winston to sleep while they are using their ultimate. You can totally save your teams ass (even if they don't notice ;) ).
Ana is definitely not for people that can't micro manage though. You need razor sharp reflexes to time everything just right.
Imagine playing Hanzo, if you couldn't wall run, had to heal your teammates, didn't automatically self heal and your ultimate was totally reliant on the competence of someone else to pull off.
I would tell anyone wanting to play her to get good at aiming.

Joel II X wrote: No mobility? Damn. I thought she would get some kind of wall climb ability at least.
I'll still try her out one of these days. The no headshot damage thing sucks major balls, though.
She is good to.play as if your teammates like to bunch up together since you can snipe them with health easily if they are all in one general area. Also your grenade can save a bunch of people's asses at the same time.
The main reason you don't see her much is because clumping up in the game is an extremely bad idea. Ultimates can easily take you out, explosives from characters wreck multiple people at once and your enemies can surround you and make it hard to kill any of them because you are focused on dodging too much. It's the same reason people dont like to hide behind Reinhardt when there's a Pharah or Junkrat.
Because the clumping play style is so easy to counter Ana usually isn't the best support to have unless you have a very good heavy.
Oh, and the headshot thing isn't so bad. You do 80 damage per shot regardless (though it happens over the course of about a second instead of all at once). And when you put people to sleep you can shoot them and then melee them for more than a combined total of 100 hit points.
Anyhow, how much damage you do per shot is less of an issue than shooting people in general.
Usually your teammates are in the way so rarely will you have a chance to shoot someone at all since any shot automatically going through a teammate counts as healing instead of damage on an enemy.

I think most people consider him the most annoying character in the game, and possibly a low skill one, but with a bit of experience, you can actually use him for some pretty sophisticated play. He's also among the more versatile characters, equally good on attack and defense.
My basis for thinking people are annoyed with him is that I frequently get end-of-match cards that says I've had killstreaks of 15-20, been involved in 50-60% of all eliminations or otherwise did quite well in a way that should've been noticable, but get very few recommendations/votes/whatchamacallits from other players, my own team or the opposing team :-D The thing is that all explosive based characters tend to promote a more selfish way of playing and tend to be the justification for people not going near the objective.

Well...in general, sure. But it's not like I stay on the objective and spam explosives. That's boring, and also easily countered. If Junkrat stays in just one area, he's easy to take out, with his limited ammo and HP pool, no healing and the delayed explosion of his shells (unless a direct hit). I'm having far more trouble taking out skilled Pharah players, with the flying, firing missiles easily at a particular spot to root out people in cover, and quite a few missiles before reload. I'm playing Devil's advocate. I don't have an issue with any character. I play mostly 76, Reaper and Hanzo.
