Im serious. Yes, true, but I will likely not be playing it. Even my best laptop, an A10 AMD based machine with Radeon dual graphics will probably have difficulties with it and I'm not looking to buy a new machine if it does.
I may be lucky, and Nova have the sort of graphics smarts that Dust did, and I have a Logitech PS3 style controller, so I'll certainly give it a go. But whichever way it goes, if it ever ports to PS4, I'll be on there like a shot. |

My feeling is that they are moving to PC so they have a stable platform to develop for, one which isn't going to evaporate on them every time it's superseded. EvE has never had that problem because it's on PC. Valkyrie is also on PC, but they are porting it to PS4, probably because there will be a fairly large potential player base there. Likewise, they could port Nova to PS4 once it's released for PC. Yes, the offering on PS4 would evaporate as soon as that platform was superseded, but the main PC platform would continue uninterrupted and therefore Nova could be continually developed as is EvE and will be Valkyrie, and ported to various console platforms as they become available.
Porting is, after all, a lot easier than primary development. |

These days I only have laptops. They're pretty high end but any thought of putting a graphics card in them is pure fantasy! :) |
