I feel your pain bro. I played my last game on 28/5/2016. Gutted that I couldn't play it again for 1 last time. I'm a grown guy also at 33yrs old & even though it had its critics, it was a great game. What more could anyone want for free?
I have found it difficult to even play games now since. I have tried Planetside 2 but it doesn't come close. Dust was unique. I too have tried to login on Dust again in hope that it will start. Lol ridiculous really.
I enjoyed Dust a lot & it was a great pleasure to play alongside you all. I hope someday we will all get to return in some shape or form on console.

Sadly, it should have been ported to PS4 at the very beginning. The PS4 was released in Nov 2013 so DUST 514 should have been held back for at least 6 months. The PS4 release date was always going to take away a lot of the PS3 players. DUST suffered from this as a result.

I think that's what the problem with DUST dying is, new players were joining and they were getting interested in the game.

Single-player games have completely lost their appeal to me.
Planetside 2 is definitely not as good as Dust in my opinion. Visually it's much better & runs smoothly, no real lag issues but it feels empty. No sense of accomplishment on it. You can take over some territories in the blink of an eye but in another blink, another faction comes in & takes it back. Or you spend a long time battling over the same thing. Very repetitive.
At least in Dust there was a time limit or as we all well know your "clone reserved are depleted" ended the battle  |
