Playing people a bit better than you is the best way to learn but it is pointless to fight against people much better , I don't know why I listened to people that told me to fight on, Oh well , live and learn .
dust514 is NOT a team sport like football, Most players would make their team lose if it got their squad more kills.

I consistently left battles where I sensed the other side was overwhelming. To fight on regardless is just mindless stupidity to me. You achieve nothing but a sense of failure, and stoking the egos and wallets of the other side.
I refuse to this day to be stomp fodder. Stomping has to be the lowest level of cowardice in the game, since it's about vets ganging up on one team against noobs and solos on the other. They probably didn't think of it that way preferring to think of it in some other less obnoxious terms, but that's what it was pure and simple.
And it's still going on today, too. Albeit many of the battles now have two sides trying to stomp each other! If you're a solo like me, it really doesn't matter, you're still gonna get stomped. :)
No, you were wise to leave battles where you were hopelessly outgunned. Anything else is just ridiculous. |
