Pessimist: It may be because an answer for Nova is taking longer than expected.
Optimist: It may be because they know Nova will be greenlight, and want to keep the overexcited guinea pig we love being around for a soon-to-come Alpha! :)))))

How bad ass would it be if would could run private servers after the plug is pulled. With all it's flaws I still love me some Dust and wish Death Match worked better on that sky map. I loved the hacked king of the kill mode.

There's the roleplay and armchair developer feedback section that'll probably see a decent bit of activity. There's also the timeless forum warrior struggle of amassing the most 'likes.' (Like farm threads here we come!)

I would say not a chance. There are still way too many bugs to be worked out in terms of designing a VR FPS that could be played by anyone, not just the few people who don't throw up.

I don't think that's necessarily all that unreasonable. It doesn't have to be VR, and they may choose to put it on PS4 just like Valkyrie. There's even talk that there may be a 2-D version of Valkyrie but I don't know the source of that. Nova isn't supposed to be VR, so putting it onto PS4 would be relatively simple I think. Finally, there might actually be a sort of Dust port to PS4! They just did it a very long way around.... ;) |
