Had a salty encounter with 911 Roush.
The fellow merc had his jimmies a rustlin because I was hacking turrets in the special contract matches. For some reason, he kept queuing Archduke's special contracts (and being the ******* that I am) I joined his side each time, for about 3 dom matches. He'd roll around in his tank, getting progressively angrier in local chat while attempting to pop installations, and I'd be there to make em' blue. 
Stepping back for a minute. Yes, I understand everyone's goal for 'celebrating' the end of Dust is different, but why the hell put oneself through the torture of getting an item (likely a 1 or 3 day omega booster) that has basically zero benefit with the game shutting down?

I lost interest in playing Dust after the end was announced, I thought: "what's the point?" in playing a game where all progress will be erased after it shuts down?
Really, there's no point in completing missions and getting rewards anymore, the only reason for someone to be playing Dust now is if they wanna feel nostalgic.

I kept playing because I have only been playing for less than a year and never got the chance to properly max out anything. So I set myself the task of maxing out as many Caldari skills as I could - CalAss, CalScout, RR, MAGSEC, Engineering, Electronics, Profile Dampening (for the Scout), Shields, Armour, basicly everything I would need to really experience what I've been missing.
And I got there. But now there's not much left for me to do - all the stomping is making battles rather unreasonable and while I have enough ISK for as long as I could possibly need, I'm finding I'm not particularly interested in throwing it mindlessly at all the roving gangs. So these days I leave more battles than I finish, and my level of progress has definitely dropped. I used to cap out my SP every week, now I don't come close.
I'll miss Dust, but I won't miss the stomping. It completely ruins the game for me. The fact that it's actually built into Dust via squads and qsyncing actually makes Dust somewhat distasteful. |

I'm being genuine and not condescending. I personally don't get any entertainment value from trolling people.
Seems you've heard the "welcome to the internet" phrase a lot more than I have. To me that was a Sazu original. :P Anyways my point was not justification, but to reiterate the fact that the internet is not a fun place if you're not thick-skinned and that there's no purpose in getting this upset over someone else's actions that don't affect you.

Well....Dust is shutting down in 5 days. These are special circumstances.
I think about in the sense that I have robbed him of his sandcastle just as the tide waters of Dust's closure comes in to wash it all away. Maybe Dust corps will persist, maybe they won't, but the legacy of a corp seems more guaranteed (via Eve) than holding onto Dust ISK or material assets.

More than anything this makes me sad at the fact that we will never see full on player trading and corp management in Dust.
With a full system you could have offered him up those omegas he was dying for in exchange for 51% of his corp shares and had some real fun with it AKA grabbing it out from under him when the corp wallet was nice and fat instead of him cleaning it out first.

I'm not recruiting, but you are welcome aboard to have corp on your employment history.
I have also instituted XERCC corp law.
-Tax Rate = 100%
-Corp Wallet Open to all members
-Contribution tab activity determines if you keep access to wallet (not going to monitor this one )
As for the remainder of the week, I will unload this corp off on an alt and prepare several other loaded CP shell corps to attack districts.
