Entire vehicle aspect of the game in DUST is something like 25-30% of bug's this game have. Just look at the past and imagine that every singiel developer-minute spend on fixing Infantry-Vechicle interaction could serve for good of Infantry vs. Infantry combat - sincerely I think we would play even greater game today, then we do.
The only bug with vehicles is that the control sticks sometimes don't respond as you roll from full reverse to full accel. Would be better to imagine what Dust would have been like if they didn't split the team to waste time on Legion.

It's been said many times that when the core gameplay is as fun as possible - instead of being barely tolerable like Dust - they'll open up planets again and we'll have vehicles there.
Assumes facts not in evidence. The demo took place inside, and aside from some lore fluff, it wasn't in space, at least not moving. Boring reality sneaking in, but physics has rules and all that. As for them making a infantry only game than expanding it with vehicles, I find that to be a poor design philosophy. They don't work as a tack on addition. As for starting out on ships in space, I laugh heartily at how poorly a corridor shooter with no views of the outside world will do. Why do YOU need to be reminded about the "ten year plan"? Here, lets go back to 2012, https://youtu.be/jbzN4G_geKI?t=408 isn't in funny how they are still focused on making a "good shooter experience". I wish them the best of luck, but don't act like we haven't seen all these statements before. Its a bloody recycle of the promises with Dust, just with less actual ambition.
1. Have you even bothered keeping up with the press? It was mentioned multiple times by CCP and even multiple videos on YouTube showed the screens indicating that the fights were taking place on board a Chimera Fighter Carrier which is a Caldari ship in space.

2. Actually, the map was just a little too big for 6v6 which explains why only so few players ran into the one room inside the ship where you can see what looks like a Naga battle cruiser in space.

Actually, the Dev Blog you linked specifically mentions the following:
"For now, registration is available exclusively to active subscribers of EVE Online who will join the pool of participants that we will be using to allow entry into early testing and special events for DUST 514. Registration for MorduGÇÖs Private Trials does not guarantee entry, but as an active EVE subscriber, you are the first to have access to sign up for the closed beta." - CCP Cmdr Wang (no longer working there)
It is also very likely that the alpha testers were Eve players since it was originally brought up in one of the earlier fanfests (I think 2009).

Why do YOU need to be reminded about the difference between that guy in the video and Rattati?

Press Attache wrote:No faith in press images. I think you catch a glimpse of the room in Kirks third video, but with all the grey on grey, its hard to tell. But of course it wasn't in space in new eden, its just some window dressing. The gravity makes no sense as soon as you see outside, but I guess that doesn't really matter, since authentic artificial gravity would make people freak out. Playing inside a representation of a carrier is still pointless, because CCP will NEVER allow people destroy ships from the inside. So pretending you are inside a carrier is all fine and good, but it will never be connected to new eden that way.
That wasn't my point. Your statement made it seem like it wasn't in space. I don't care if that's all just window dressing. The point here is that parts of the ship gave us the impression that we are fighting in space. The only beef I have with the map though is that the rest of the map didn't give us that impression and I recall CCP Rattati and CCP Frame bringing that up saying they will try to address that issue as they continue to develop Nova.
As for the gravity part, this is sci-fi for crying out loud. We are practically about 24,000 years into the future.

Why do YOU need to be reminded about the difference between that guy in the video and Rattati? Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. I'd rather play the game Laurino wanted to make than what Rattati is planning, but I came to dust for persistence, and a connection to new eden.
That's CCP Jian if I remember correctly. As far as I can tell from experience, at least Rattati delivered more on his promises compared to this guy. I would rather trust someone who actually delivered more than the other guy.

Who owns psn? Its not ccp but for reals psn is property of sony and thus it was sony who sent out several waves of server stress test keys for dust 514 tests on psn While we psn master race got to play the great unwashed of fanfest had to wait several weekends before they were able to play. In other words those who got to play first called sony and requested an early access beta key to participate in dust 514 stress tests on psn before ccp or anyone at ccp got keys for the great unwashed of fanfest. Comprende? Kristofer touborg lead design said ''we do have some psn users in now'' when asked why no fanfest users had keys to dust 514 Lol at someone calling me a ''sony veteran tester''
And I'm willing to bet that those "PSN users" happen to be Eve Online players who just so happen to have a PS3 sitting around. Don't think that all PC users don't have a console sitting around. I know I did. Hell, I even have the X360, Wii, WiiU, and 3Ds XL. Cross Platform gaming is best gaming.
