Not easy without cover fire, resuply is a lot quicker but I always try to revive, just don't suicide, it might take a little while.
Oh and if you do have your mic on, do feel free to give squad commands to those of us that don't, I think that might make gameplay a bit more cohesive, at least for me. |

Will almost definitely change my toon's name between now and release but I'm on board. Played EVE for a bit but couldn't get into it. DUST, however . . . already addicted after one day.
History: Lots of FPS's. Played in a clan in WW2Online for a bit, but got bored with that game pretty quickly. No clans since then, never saw the point. DUST, however, is about more than just leaderboards and shooting each other and a clan (merc corp) is the way to play here. |

I am new to the eve universe, but have followed the game from the outside. Being a console gamer has kept me from trying it, Dust 514 now allows me to be a part of it. I would like to join a group of people down for the cause. I also have a good friend who is willing to be a part of it as well.

This sounds exciting, all Dust clones operating in unison like some Executive order 66.
My big question concerning alliances like this, as they've been discussed several times before, is regarding the theoretical scenario of every Dust merc joining the same corporation. Then all of the ground assets on every temperate planet would belong to the Dust corporation, and with the amounts of ISK that would bring in the corp could spam high value assets and gradually wrestle control of the stars from anti-Dust EvE corps. Or at least majorly screw with the Eve economy. Eve corps wouldn't have many or that great a selection of dust mercs to stem the tide with. We could expect that at least small Eve corps would want to join our party and get a cut of the ISK pie generated by planets. These corps could help with fending off orbital bombardments, war barge escorts, ISK and equipment supply, etc.
CCP wants Dust and Eve to play together, but we don't have to play nicely |

This sounds great to me. How do I get signed up?
Been playing EVE off and on for about 4 years, primary focus is missile and launcher manufacturing. I operate in the Lonetrek region.
Played MOH:AA with ]WORD[ back in the day. Played a lot of BF1942 and 2142 after that, but didn't have a real clan. Friends play a lot of CoD, but all that mindless running and gunning wears thin after a while. |

I have played EVE on and off since 2006, and I am extremely handy with ships made entirely of duct tape and rust (In rust we trust!!) I've been playing FPS's since... well lets just say Its been a loong time.
I'm a scout who can listen to orders, infiltrate and place a beacon, or a strategic DET pack and isn't afraid of a fire fight :)
I'll be trying to keep this name if we have another wipe. |
