On a more serious note, I would say that most Dust players would be willing to argue that there is no really good FPS anywhere. That most likely comes from the fact that we all look for some depth to a game that really does not exist in the FPS world. Even tho up to now I would consider it a failure I still applaud CCP for breaking that FPS mold. On PC there is a lot of choice for FPS of every kind, Nova will be a drop in an ocean of choice. That's the only point i bring, i have no intention to start another useless war pc vs console.

Me too, but Overwatch is deep as a puddle. Fun to play with friends, but it gets boring fast.

LOOKMOM NOHANDS wrote: This exactly. In fact many of the FPS games on console are the same ones that are "big" on PC.
The whole gaming industry is just in a ridiculous state of flux thanks to the arguments over microtransactions and what not.
I would argue that they hype machine and pre-ordering has completely crapped on games over the last couple of years. When a company spends millions hyping up a game and in turn collects millions from pre-orders on day 1 the goal becomes not to deliver a good game that gets good reviews but to hit the deadline so they do not lose orders. This leads to buggy products and generally less emphasis on actual quality. When the game gets bagged on for being substandard they just convince you to buy the game all over again in the form of a DLC saying this will make it good now.
In the past when a game was about to be released it was about getting out copies to high level reviewers that people trusted in an attempt to drive sales through quality. In today's market all that matters is name recognition and marketing budgets.
Mobile gaming has evolved into a different form factor that sets it apart. Mobile gaming is driven by either in game ads or microtransactions and sometimes even a combination of the two. This means that the developers need to produce a game that you will stick with because you want to instead of making you stick around and spend more just out of buyer's remorse.
COD and BF are always the two big ones, available on everything, but as you said, they are always the same soup. Fortunately on PC one can choose something else with decent playerbase. I don't want to argue about Nova not being played on PC, but a console port would be a win-win situation for CCP, i know a good number of players in the italian community and we really don't know what to play toghether. It will never have cod or bf playerbase, but if Dust was profitable on a almost dead console, i'm sure that Nova could be on a mid-life console.
