This helps to explain why CCP blows. Some people feel guilty when they do you wrong, so tthey try to make up for it. CCP blows all of the players off (that spent so much money and time into a game that was supposed to be indefinite) and gives you nothing. I mean, what possible reason could they have for not telling us?? It isn't like they are going to keep the name.

You do know that being instantaneously vaporized means its at the same time as death so before something would be able to transmit, therefore it would stand to reason that the clones and the implants are being remote controlled via a (consciousness, living matrix), this would insure true deity god like powers over death. Nothing like overriding the living mind with another  Blah eve lore

I made a post ages and ages ago that was never confirmed nor denied, so I think it might be right.
To summarize, In Chinese numbers have symbolic meanings, and when we look at 514 we can get a couple different things out of it that fit Dust 514's lore pretty well.
My personal favorite of the guesses is that 514 is a homophone in Chinese that sounds like 'I Will Die' or 'I Am Dying.'
Also, you could get 'blessings create death or great misfortune' from the individual numbers themselves.
Taken as 51-4, because 51 symbolizes desire and wanting, it may be seen as 'I want death'.
And as 14 symbolizes guaranteed death, so you may see it as 'blessings guarantee death'.
There ya go guys. Enjoy the actual meaning of 514.
