Nope.
Controls can never be made equal, and waiting on Sony QA would slow updates for PC.

Because trying to spend time on supporting multiple platforms would be detrimental to PC, which is unacceptable. PC players shouldn't have to wait weeks for a patch just because it hasn't cleared Sony QA yet.
The control issue has been brought up time and again, so we needn't go through that again.
Also any suggestion of "just make them two separate games" is ludicrous because it defeats the core principle of the game.

Im not a pessimist and I TRULLY do believe that CCP is more than competent enough to pull it off. Even more than that I know they can and would if this community asked for it enough. Kindly of course.
It's not a matter of determination or ability, it's a matter of facing reality. There are no current PC-Console cross-playable FPS games because the control discrepancy can't be accounted for, and games like Warframe have to have separate update schedules because console releases have to go through lengthy QA periods.

That, and the game without New Eden would be a waste of everyone's time. It would also require continued support from CCP which would then not be used for Nova.
