Somewhere in the Molden Heath Region, on planetside. I was scouting out in the nearby desert figuring out why my comm-relay inside of my dropsuit wasn't functioning. The day seemed overcast, but I had a terrible feeling inside of me that something very horrible is underway. My mission was to search for a fire team that went missing before all communications went offline. It felt like hours had went by since the blackout.
There in the valley my sensors were picking up a faint signal indicating a life sign that was fading into oblivion. I approach the area cloaked, not knowing what dangers await upon my arrival.
To my ultimate shock, it was a fellow Dust Mercenary and his fire team that happened to be a part of The Planetary Response Organization. Except only one remained, clinging to life as the others in the fire team were disappearing into nano particles, I scanned their consciousness for any extra clones for the fire team.
That is where my heart sank into my throat, there weren't any more clones available which was impossible. These guys have died over a thousand times and still kept fighting with a unlimited amount of clones, but only now I am trying to puzzle who is doing this and why the sudden campaign of biomassing clones into what seemed to be a purge.
Then a voice called my name, I replied to him. "Who did this? Don't tell me that you'd let those meatheads do this to you guys."
He answered with a dying laugh, like I didn't know anything. "No way. Come on, now. You should know better than that, Sawdeth."
Even I knew better since I died thousands of times in the last three years as a mercenary. "I didn't think so, well... What happened?"
So he explained from his personal point of view. "We were ambushed by a platoon of CONCORD soldiers."
While I was in my mercenary quarters when I've gotten the word that the fire team went missing and was sent out by CONCORD by contract to retrieve them at any cost. "CONCORD sent us here."
Then he started to clinch to the pain of gunshot wounds as his anger spat the ultimate revelation of CONCORD's master plan. "Yes! It was a set up. CONCORD wants us all biomassed."
I asked why would the Consolidated Cooperation and Relations Command, the protector of humanity commit such genocide to the Immortal Mercenary? I can think and recite the Articles of Yulai or the Yoiel Conference between the Jove Empire and the Empires of New Eden that ended the war over a century ago. So I said.
"After all that we've done, it doesn't make sense. We've taken the Jobs even The D.E.D. wouldn't mess with and either we accomplished or failed those contracts. No one in the universe works like we do!"
He started coughing up blood, the end was near for my comrade. "We were beginning to be the best that New Eden has seen, CONCORD is scared."
I didn't understand what he meant by that. "Scared of what?"
He replied that made my blood boiled with rage. "CONCORD is scared of you, Sawdeth. Don't you see? They're scared of what we will become. We're becoming a force to be reckoned with."
Now the truth has been made crystal clear to my conscience. I listen as he draws his last breath. "Good luck...I'm sorry...That I can't..."
I made my final message to a comrade that has been there with me since The Battle of Caldari Prime. He was my best friend, and now he has become one out of millions of biomassed clones that CONCORD has purged in order to keep the status quo throughout New Eden. As for me, I will go on to survive as I gather what remains of the mercenaries to unleash a war for our right to live.
It will be known throughout the History of New Eden that the Immortal Mercenaries go through a great tribulation and a dark time as "Project Nova"

There is one passage but it is going to be risky. We will have to commandeer a vessel, like a shuttle class ship or a modified frigate class ship that resists electronic warfare.
If we retreat into null security space, there are chances that capsuleers will mostly not welcome us there.
A temporary place to call home until we exact our vengeance against the purge. Until then we need resources from interstellar gas to produce the implant.
However with limited supplies unfortunately not everyone will be saved from the purge.
