What is the future the CPM? What is their role now? Will there be new elections, or will the current CPM remain in place for the time being?
Also, which members are still on the CPM? |

All members of the CPM2 that were elected are still on the council.
Additionally I see no reason why they would not, at the very least, finish out their 1 year term which started around August.

well thats what im asking really... dust shuts down may 30th. they have 3 months of their term without a game to actually represent. do they switch to CPM for project nova? do we elect a new CPM for project nova? do we disband the CPM? |

If we have combat aircraft, they should be proper combat VSTOL aircraft that don't look like glorified troop transports.

Once Dust has ended I don't know if there is much point for there to be a CPM.
They are meant to be community representatives, and there will be no community. At least not until a while after Nova has launched. |

All in all I think this CPM has been really good. They did not get a chance to prove themselves as much as other CPM but still proved to be pretty good.
Hopefully they get some unique access to Nova and get to at least help on building it with input from actual Dust players. |

CCP hasn't exactly slammed the doors in our faces so far as Nova is concerned. We are in the loop as much as we can be and we are providing feedback when asked.
You all just got to see the actual gameplay demo before I did, those who went to fanfest.
You bastards.
But all in all, while some people will shout/whine/praise/rail no matter what happens, Rattati seems to have a good handle on what needs to happen for the game to not turn into another disaster.
I know, I know, CCP learning from mistakes, blah blah blah. I've made all the wisecracks before.
I will simply say the Devs are actually listening to the feedback. They may not always LIKE said feedback, but they are listening and take it into account.

My hope is CCP would see the wisdom in keeping the CPM and the forums around.
We're a giant hive-mind with a half decade of ingrained knowledge of the game they're trying to make. We share the same end-goal they do in making this game a reality; which thus makes us generally eager to help in any way we can.
I'm hoping they see the utility in that.
