If this were how they announced the game there would be far less crybabies on the forums right now. But after reading this interview...... nova, is essentially going to be exactly what Dust 514 was supposed to be. There going to start out basic, fine tune the shooting mechanics so that the game is a respectable FPS first, then when the game can stand on its own two legs, build onto it with multiple eve to nova connections and make the MMO aspect deeper and deeper. The interview above gives a clear guideline of how they are going to go about doing it too. So for example, the "32 pre-fit loadouts" aren't going to be the "only" options players have. Those will simply be whats available to new players as "beginner fits" to limit the amount of choice a new player experiences. One of dust's biggest problems was with how overwhelmed new players felt. Giving generic pre fit suits/roles to them is a good way to get around that problem. But the article also clearly says in the last question asked that the game will have just as much customization options as dust. The difference will be all in how they present it to new players. Suits didn't have capacitors or resistance stats. We only had 5 slots instead of 8 as a max. There weren't ammo types and a lot of mods and guns were missing. Don't vote for iron wolf saber. Vote for someone who will help the community i.e. anyone else.
