The bitternerds never cease to amaze me. There is avoiding getting caught up on the hypetrain then there is just being a cynical ****.

Anyway, yeah, I'm anxious to see what will be talked about tomorrow and throughout fanfest. I'm hoping we see some in engine video, gameplay, and some news about these elusive tiered veteran rewards. If my estimation of how long CCP has been working on NotDUST is accurate then they might have a demo ready. That would be cool.

And this is a long shot, but an expected alpha date would be nice to see. Even if it was 2017 or what have you.

Press Attache wrote:Well the textbook definition of vaporware is "Software that has been advertised but is not yet sold, either because it is still a rough concept or because it is still being written or designed."A cynic would declare the project vaporware. A realist calls it vaporware based on CCP Shanghais track record. There is a subtle difference, but a notable one.
So yeah, NotDUST is still being written/designed. Not exactly a controversial stance there, private. I won't disagree with you. My speculation that a demo will be available is just that: speculation.

Project NOVA is replacing Legion. It has a playable demo at fanfest right now.

How hard are you dedicated to this salt, I guess is what I'm asking?I don't know where that stock google definition comes from, but it is certainly not the common usage of the term, which is much more accurately defined on the wikipedia page.
"In the computer industry, vaporware (also spelt vapourware) is a product, typically computer hardware or software, that is announced to the general public but is never actually manufactured nor officially cancelled."

I love how you need to be obtuse to make a point. Going to need to get you a spinmaster soon.
