I find it annoying when people leave just because they lost officer gear. I mean like, they should know they risk loosing it by taking it out and that no one is immune. That and you aren't getting sp/Isk for work already done.
Hell, I've pulled out a Scotsman and was killed by spawn campers and pulled out another 2 later and I don't give AF

When you sit 200 metres away from the objective you just care about your kd,as soon as i called my gv.0 he hided behind a container to leave the battle, it was priceless to roadkill him and shot his dead body lmao

Most of the times I've spawned with Officer gear I die less than 1 minute later to a shotgun scout that somehow managed to get behind my entire team without being noticed.
**** happens. You eventually have to learn to get over it, which obviously the guy mentioned in the OP has not.
