Many people may not be able to catch fanfest or simply may have forgotten about it.
@CCP, Once the announcements are made will there be an official info sticky so that the trolls and rumor mongers here are not free to start screwing up peoples perceptions of the new game before it even exists?
Normally I would assume frame as tossing this up there for sure but given the silence all around and the state of the forums I am just curious. |

Given past experience, I would guess even if FF/Phoenix doesn't get official stickies, that at least one thread will have some links to videos and any relevant articles if there are any.
Some of the CPM have made threads with FF info in the past as well, and considering some are attending, I would wager on something from at least one of them as well.

Really hoping CPM gives us some running NotLegion coverage. CCP will be busy attending the event. They may not post devblog-like stuff until well after fanfest is over.

Can we also suggest someone wear a GoPro camera for the pub crawl? That should be entertaining, even if there are no subtitles.

I would totally donate to a kickstarter to buy someone a go pro and a streaming rig for this. |

I actually have plans to log back into Dust during Fanfest so I can tell the players there what's going on as it's happening. Since my computer is right next to the PS3, I can play the livestream in the background for many players to listen in on while I try to describe what CCP is showing visually. What channel do you think I should do this in?

EDIT: Never mind. I just looked at the keynote schedule and the bulk of it will be during my regular work schedule. I won't be able to do what I hope to do except during saturday and I'm sure that I will miss the bulk of the news by then. :(
I actually considered using VAC looped through Eve to play it in a Dust channel for players who want to hang and hear everything together as well as discuss afterwards but I feel like that without the visuals it will be a bit of a waste and of course the trolls would likely take over.
For anyone else that feels like doing it just grab virtual audio cable, output your computer sound to VAC, set VAC to output as a mic, and in Eve put your chat input as VAC.
