And if that ever gets out... Oh how will old saxonmish be able to pay his bills. It aint cheap that light bill hes got.
If everyones farming the noobs how will he generate enough isk to do anything? How will he pay for his proto?

Mu. The greek letter. It is a placeholder for a value determined by some CCP math that helps give a value to a mercs skill level.
It is intended to be used for MM purposes (as opposed to team building). There are supposedly two MU levels, with higher Mu most likely being vets and very skilled players, and low Mu being noobs and KTB skill level vets.

OK, well in that case I must assume I've found my way somehow into the higher bracket (probably the very low echelons of it) as I'm now consistently coming up against anything but noobs. I'm striking vets, plain and simple, and they are mowing me down like I'm just not there. Yes, I do occasionally find someone like myself with whom I can have a half-way decent fair fight, but largely, that's just not happening.
I run solo, so it's not because my squad leader is a vet, it's because somehow I managed to find myself being elevated to the rank of cannon fodder for the vets.
What exactly are KTB skill level vets by the way? |

KTB is a vet who arguably lacks any skill. At least there was none from what I could see of his videos.

I personally dislike the current system. There should be 3 stages rather than 2.
I keep switching between farming starter fits to being the only one exiting the redline against a squad of meta players that are most likely in officer. I'm sort of an intermediate player, and there needs to be a middle ground.

Its the low player numbers not the system. There is only so much you can do with what there is now.

You just do not understand the technical skill involved to switching between your side arm and primary constantly and the vast benefits that this brings.
