You race to hack the objective in dom, and there's noone behind you to back you up. You die to a squad of reds that have all raced to get there at the same time, and when you go to respawn, you have to go right back to the start because noone has deployed any uplinks, and in any case they're all off cruising around the map anywhere BUT near the objective.
Kind of makes me just decide they deserve to lose. That's when I leave the battle. |

Some of my suits are BPOs. They don't necessarily have uplinks. My Hawk Scout doesn't have them. My favourite BPO, though is the Kampo Logi which has uplinks anyway.
But you miss my point. The problem wasn't not having any uplinks to respawn on, but the fact that everyone was everywhere else. To be honest, when the team is that useless, my first and usually only response is to leave the battle. I run solo - leaving the battle is my only recourse to useless teams. |

Kind of makes me just decide they deserve to lose. That's when I leave the battle. This very thing is what made me ton of SP and ISK playing Dust, nobody throws uplinks.......ever. Kinda funny, 3 years later people still don't throw them.
Why? Just... why? It makes no sense. You need uplinks. I don't have them on some of my suits because they're BPOs, but I do run logis and they have them, whether they're BPOs (the Kampo) or I fitted them myself. BOTH uplinks and nanos are imperative to your team. |
