1. All character data, without a single doubt on my mind, is stored on the Tranquility Live server. This is the same server that Eve Online is actively using and will continue to use for years to come especially after Tranquility just recently underwent one of the biggest upgrades in its history.

2. Since all corporation data and character data is on Tranquility, the data will remain long after Dust 514 has been shut down. There are even Eve-side killmails posted online for all to see. Capsuleers in space will forever retain this data thanks to the popular API system.

So rest assured that our data is safe. I'm even confident that CCP might be able to transfer our names over to the new game they are making. But I'm extremely pessimistic about the ISK, SP, and assets to the point that I'm already pouring kerosene all over the merc quarters.
PS: I have no doubt about the data by the mere fact that a Dust player can still join a corporation established in Eve Online and vise versa. Case in point, Dust University.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm.
But I'll bite.
If by "different platform" you mean PC where Eve Online is well established, then that makes our data even more safe. The question is will the player who is CEO still be willing to move to PC? If not, then the corp is **** out of luck. But even if the character's name is somehow retained for NotLegion, there is no guarantee that he/she would retain the SP needed for corp management which could ultimately cause the corp to be disbanded.
So as a safety measure, if any of you have an Eve account, or know someone you can trust very much to do it for you, there is always the option of having that Eve character join the Dust corp and then give that Eve character the CEO position which ultimately gives them full control of the corp. This will ensure that the corp will not potentially be disbanded if your Dust character suffers from SP loss during the transfer to PC.
