Shame on you for only posting at the end!! where was this logic before they made the call ?? 
The Quote is to outline.. this is what they did a year ago (while still making that AUR yo) likely at FF14 CCP decided for sure that the console side was dead, but there was no need to tell the bunnies so they would keep paying and playing....
So for that, I cannot argue anyone who is hesitant to support CCP again, or just smart enough not to 
Too many vocal players, gaming on their PC's wanted Dust on PC, EVE players wanted Dust on PC.. this port is aimed at the playerbase they lost a long time ago, and those they never had... As for guys like you and me, Console gamers who invested in a game we were led to believe would be here in 5 years... The port is not for our sake 
If they wow me enough at Fanfest.. maybe I'll stay with it and move to PC...
But bad enough Dust is plagued with exploits and modded controllers.. I don't want to see what it's plagued with on PC
I suppose the fact that 1000's of Dust514 gamers that did not own computers to communicate with CCP are someway responsible for this, as those that are vocal pushed for this to happen, those loyal to the idea of Dust514... got screwed

OK now I see you just like the sound of your own voice, actually knowing what you're talking about is irrelevant to you. CCP are absolutely ready for bots because they've been detecting and banning them frequently for over 10 years. Jeezus of all the unfounded accusations towards CCP in the last few weeks this one really takes the cake.

On PC, half the things handing at advantage (programmable inputs) are not even bannable offences.
So keep your pants on girlie, he is as entitled to an opinion as you are... sadly.
