Now that we're talking about Trump....how could anyone vote for him in the US? No wonder there is an ubelievable percentage of people in the US that still claims there's no such "global warming" thing

In other words....populism? You know, this guy was also an anti-enstablishment, dominant personality, and had the ability to draw crowds to the "real issues" by using their fear and irritation of current affairs. He also gained an unimaginable general consensus, but then it turned out it wasn't a big deal both for Germans and the world.
Then again, what's the real problem? Mexicans crossing the US border without a regular green card? Maybe there are far more issues in the US than the "mexicans".
American public administration is a disaster, and if is an italian telling you so, it must be seriously pretty damn bad.

And that's the reason of my first post. As an italian, it is pretty much common knoledge here that the main "evil" at least in Italy wasn't Mussolini nor Fascism as an ideology (at the time it was a pretty "common" ideology for any country, even if totally despicable) but those who followed fascism.
Why only few american politicians talks about real public healthcare? Why don't they just stop selling weapons to anyone? Why do you have to pay crazy tuition fees in order to have an higher education? I wanted to go in NY last year, since I "could" be a citizen of the United States, but then I saw the tuition fees of the "reasonably good Universities" there and...well, I decided to stay here, maybe moving to Scotland next year.
The US could be a real paradise if the taxes were proportional to the income. Considering that 1% of population holds more than 30% of US wealth, well, you already got it.

The few who do talk about those issues usually get pushed away from the media and are often countered with "where you gonna get the money". A large amount of Americans are going for personality over policies because they either don't understand or aren't getting exposed to it. Which is why I'm pushing my family members to vote for Bernie, he actually goes to those issues directly.
Yup, I (and probably anyone from EU) would absolutely vote for Bernie.
"Where you gonna get the money"... well, let's start by not building the great wall of America and invest those money into healthcare.
Just do not allow anyone a weapon.
The direct consequence would be that more people will be long-lived. That means more income.
Public education: more learned people means more innovation that means more industrial/technological development.
