Dear CCP,
OP is in the minority. It seems most players do want some of our legacy to transfer. I think the CPM will confirm that if you ask them. Talk over what makes sense to migrate to the new game and what doesn't. ISK is probably something that you will want to reset. I know so many people who want to keep their names.
Discuss it with us and I'm sure we can find a middle ground.

No need to fuk up a brand new becuz of entitled azzholes Not entitlement, just expecting to keep some of what we invested in DUST 514 is all. I don't think anyone is calling for a 1:1 transfer to ISK, SP, and assets. If so, they are just as pants-on-head-stupid as the people calling for nothing to transfer.
Things like SKINs can be migrated without an issue. They are 100% aesthetic so why not? It doesn't hurt the newberries in Dust (PC) if we are glittering purple idiots.
Names should transfer simply because many of us have grown attached to them. Depending on how they are stored in the database, I think CCP could easily import them into the new game.
SP? Probably not a 1:1 transfer, but if CCP gave the vets an SP booster (or the new game equivalent) then that would be fair I think.
I'm saying there are options and ways that CCP and the community can compromise.

Summa Militum wrote:I'm pretty sure it would be a good idea for the new game not to have any BPOs whatsoever. Well, BPOs in their current form (infinite, zero ISK items) are bad. I agree.
But we don't know how crafting will work in DUST (PC). If BPOs are made to work more like they do in Eve* then I would be okay with that.
*: Meaning they actually require raw materials and time to create items. It's not "Fit BPO, Receive Item Forever!".
