I accidently posted this in features and ideas
So with the news dust is dying I had a little hope. Not because the game was dying but because I thought "finally people will ignore their kdr..."
I thought objective game modes would be more competitive? People using outrageous suits etc....
How wrong was I. .. for example last night a group of 3 of us used melee mods on commandos and ended up redlining. . Not because we was too good? Because the kdr vets would rather sit in the redline being terrified of having a kdr fit.
I sound butt hurt I get it... but the final days of dust are here. And everyone still cared about kdr????!!
Will the real vu please stand up o7

Yeah... there's a ton of officer stompers out now, and the biggest problem is, some of them have over 500 of their officer weapons... good luck winning unless they're on your team.

Tbh what I'm finding is that most the vets using officer are terrified of losing it. Making them only effective on ambush

I think KDR is a ridiculous concept. And I note that CCP has fostered it, with all the KDR records everywhere, from the match progress screen to the statistics pages.
KDR is something CCP wanted for some reason. Yet another reason I think CCP has some very unfortunate tendencies. |

Exactly! To me the whole point of a game is to go for the win or have fun. Running into your spawn and hiding for your kdr is not. And isk isn't an issue for them. So i don't understand

Yeah had a few matches yesterday and saw the same guy in about 3 matches in a row or so and he would use a protosuit for the first life or so and once he died he switched to sitting in the redline with a thales, seems a bit pointless trying to protect your KDR at this point. I meanwhile have been using up my most expensive PC fits and running stupid lol fits (scout GK.0 speed tanked to the max is awesome but not using dual ion pistols lol.)

Man I can tell you a fun as fit!! I started using it yesterday and love it.
