Everybody had that ONE specific player they enjoyed playing against. It wasn't because you expected an easy victory but because you expected a TOUGH fight. Before Dust 514 comes to an end, please honor your rival even if that player doesn't consider you his or hers.

Wolf Pack. Hate them because of how shady they are. From stealing new players from in alliance corps to using a hacker to ddos attack to letting scammers set up shop. I always hated them and they hate me so I guess that makes us rivals.
To those that think it's impossible to hack on here ask Cro from Elysium how they had his internet down for the better part of a month because they had a guy hack his IP address and non stop ddos attack him. |

Lol, I once received a corp mail from them, it was for PC Practice, I then got in a FW battle with them after said Corp mail, they had competition on the enemy side and they all left battle, So it was like a 4 Vs. 16, So I left.
I then got into another FW with them...
They were all at Home Point.
Bunch of scrubs.

Krusty the Clown I believe, gave me a good run for my money too...
I got a GG mail from him once...
Since my blues were in tanks and not hacking D he Ob one of em...
I replied to his gg mail with "Stupid Blues staying in tanks instead of hacking D damn it, we could've won!"
He replied back with something along the lines of "Yeah, I know, You tried your best, I obed one of them for you."

Had to think on this and I would say KTM Duke, guys a good player and every time I was in a battle against him I would get tanned, when I did eventually get a kill I would be chuffed even thought i died a lot. If we where on the same team i would try and follow him around to back him up and rep or whatever. Great player and a sound guy by the sounds of it too. |

I never played against anyone in that kinda way. All the memorable people I knew were either corpmates or that's kind it. If anything I was the player they enjoyed playing agiainst. Kinda because the unexpected scout AK.0 shotgunning you in the face and terminating your clone in less that 0.4 seconds while dodgeing fire kinda got attention.
And since I am a backstabbing bastard that I am, I left the corp channel voiced while they qsynced and I managed to snag a spot on the enemy team. Lol nearly lost another life to laughing my ass off.

I dont remember the whole line,but it was really funny.
Referencing my shotgunning style of absolute force via straight on,dodge the fire,leap the last 3m at 9.64m/s and blasting with a creodron shotgun at the upper chest.
I've played against my corp in some late night pubs as well. First run in a rattati,tore them a new butthole with exp.breach and exp. Assult rifles. I sold those suits right after the match. Too much power.
I've had one of the rarest pleasure in the game,dropping duna2002 AND stealing his tank in the process.(lured him out by playing peekabo behind some pillars holding my scrambler pistol,guess who got shotgunned?)
(Got his "join in my corp" mails lol)
Hunted down a few Thales snipers,didn't always succeed.
But this is average for most folks eh? Nothing special.
Neither is getting my own hatevid from ol' King thunderbolt himself. Two of them. Lel. Because a good pile of people got their own(such a salty fellow)

I had a few corpies I made sure to go extra hard against whenever I saw them on the other said. Lea Silencio was definitely a target for awhile though. One of the few other ScR users who would light me up to the point of rage. 1st tibs was another, but I rarely saw him.

Ohhhhh, my rival is from back in the day, vengeance unbound vs fatal absolution pc's heavy vs heavy my min sentinel vs his cal sentinel and that is mex dust slayer, I loved versing that guy in the city.

Back in the closed beta, it was Deranged Disaster.
I've had the pleasure of fighting him when I was a mere militia newbie, and watch as my team couldn't even get out of our spawn because he just cut us down.
After that though, everyone was just another +50 kill or an annoying death. Nobody really stands out.

It's Crusty Clown, I have played & enjoyed the game more than before when I started playing with him, and his corp members DIRTYBIRD999, dirtyendo.
Tank rival & mentor, Doc DDD.
Another rivals: unique1 ID, Lone Wolf777, warrior kill, and a lot more that I don't remember.
Those dudes were my rivals before all the sh!t (unnecesary patchs like myos, "prototype" tanks & more)

I never really had a rival, per se, but I loved going up against DAAAA BEAST. There was one match I particularly enjoyed where it was basically me versus him and five other people. I got him a few times, he got me more than a few times. It probably would have helped if I wasn't in a Scout suit with a combat rifle fighting like I was an assault going up against a commando with a shotgun and either an assault rifle or rail rifle, can't remember. My team surprisingly got close to winning, but too many of my newbs ended up in militia sniper suits in the redline (Seven of them. No joke.) and it ended up being literally just me on the field trying to infiltrate and hack the objective.
All in all, still good times.
The thought that Dust 514 may one day be the game we dreamed it to be.
