The day I bought my mercenary pack for 19.99 usd because i didn't want to wait for my beta code ( like a week later they sent me the code -_-) i had seen the trailer for this game maybe about a month prior i believe. after that i did some researching about the game and i said wow.... this is the fps I've been waiting for. I said I NEED to get a beta code asap.
I waited and waited.... about a month..nothing. Then I forgot how i found out but i found out you could just download the mercenary pack and play game for only 19.99! NO question i was buying the game after i got home after getting off of work at 7 am. Dead tired I got home and turned on my fat boy and started to download the client... with my crap internet at the time it was going to take forever so i took a nap. Woke up done with DL. Then it needed to update the client for another DL so took another nap... i slept too long and it was time to go to work....this was the day dust started to rule my world.....I called in lol. plus i was still kind of sleep deprived and just dead. So The "dust movie" was the first thing that was shown when i loaded up the game.... i was in awe. the story, graphics game play just gave me goosebumps. Then the start screen with that beautiful yet eerie music that just fit PERFECTLY with the game. (shame it was removed).
I got to my player creation screen and prompted me to select a race and bloodline....and had no clue what to pick with no knowledge of eve i just picked what i think sounded good. By now its late at night, after dinner and putting my gf to bed, around 12 am and i was just dead tired. Im bad at picking names so i just choose the first two words that pop in my head. still bad name but idc because all i wanna do is immerse my self into this game! So i load into game and see this third person pov... i walk around a bit and then find out how to get into a match.
my first match i load into with a swarm and start running around aimlessly start firing off volleys at people... i die alot.. it was fun and not fun at the same time... i said hey its my first game idk wtf im doing lets just try our all the fits. so i get into another fit and get an ar as my main wep. I go on to get one kill that match and was super excited. haha.
Then on to the second match. The second match was super fun! so i spawn in with an assault fit and i see this huge rail gun turret! I was like whoa i need to try that thing out! so i walk up to it and i see that there are lavs spawning on the other side of the map so i start to fire... and no problem start taking out lavs and and the kill feed just keeps rollling with my name with kills lol i end up destroying 6-7 lavs and killed about 5 people so i decide to leave the turret and try to get some gun game. i kill 2 people and then i get killed. so i spawn back in and go back to the turret for the remainder of the game and then after more lav destroys and kills i see some text pop up on the right hand corner of my screen? i didnt know what it meant but after match some people in local were saying "why didnt you drop the Orbital strike" or something along those lines so i asked what that was and they said "YEAH YOU! YOU DIDNT DO THE STRIKE YOU WERE SQUAD LEADER!" or something. I go on to explain how im new..blah blah etc etc. so they explain what that was and so and so. I was in awe!

So after that match i go on to really learn what were all the skills and what they did, I literally spent an hour looking and reading all the skills and wrote down what i decided to level up and kind of made my own skill tree on paper, if you will.
The rest is history. To all the memories in closed (though it was short for me) winning the clones killed challenge which Crux Special Task Force won! To The players (who raped me day in and day day out) names who are infamous though i cant really remember their names atm! Then to open beta. To the first corp i joined PRO. (CBJ was a good and real nice dude). To the rise of EON Alliance and then then the fall of EON Alliance, shout out to Red Star.  Eugene, k-con, Revolts Katius, takahiro and everyone from Red Star Thanks for the fun times. Probably the best times i had are with those guys. After that i just did my own thing. I joined RND for a short stint. Shout out to ydubbs thanks for letting me join! Probably the most under rated corp imo. They were the most calm, cohesive, strategic and intelligent ( In Planetary Conquest's) group of guys to play the game. Imo their A Team back in the day was nasty.
Now shout out to ScReWeD uP InC! Thanks dflo for letting me a big part of the corp and shout of the lovely, aussy, cate, and Rev! thanks for giving me a entertaining home its been fun guys i hope to see you all in the next life!

Thank you to all the hard working DEV's and CCP for providing the best game they could give us. Ive really enjoyed this game. I hold it dear to my heart and i cant wait for the next chapter!
Some notes....for you.
I really hope i can see players can skill into installation turrets and spawn them down on the map instead of pre-spawned turrets already on the map. makes them skills for them to make them stronger (HP SHIELDS AND ARMOR, DAMAGE) and what not. Would also LOVVVVVVE to see orbital artillery to shoot down warbarges or even ships in orbit! If theres anything else id like to add in game im sure someone has already mentioned it. But those two things you see above.... i would throw all my money at you ccp. lol.
Now to the wretched community. Jk. Kinda. about 35% of the community was actually helpful and wrote good threads. The res of you are cancer. dont buy a pc...please. but eiiiither way... you will be missed also. I hope you all enjoy the game as much as you can! I hope you all Laugh, talk and rage as much as your heart desires until they pull the plug.
Its been real, its been fun. Its been real fun guys and gals.
