There was nothing in the info given stating the next game has even been given the go ahead. They are simply "developing", just as they did Legion. We'll see how far they are at Fanfest. I totally wasn't lying about that awesome update I was promising before we killed the game.
Without a reputation for integrity, which CCP has the exact opposite of, there is no reason to give their employees the benefit of the doubt.
You make it seem like the EP wouldn't have been in meetings about his titles futures, which is astounding.
