Well when you look at it that way the whole games was a scam they knew it was not gunna last long so carried on with deals anyway ? Like skins ? Still a rip off and they arnt very profeasionall about there games if thats the case if your rob us rob us with dlc or somthing not a game with in game purchases when you know the date o f server shutdown or 2 years before they have never told us anything from start to near finish an it annoying just sell dust 514 on ps4 make it better, money well spent |

They in no way robbed anyone you dipshit. Everyone knew it was only a matter of time. I spent money on the game knowing that there was no concrete chance I'd be able to keep any of my things.

I do believe that Bungie released Destiny for the PS3 as well as the 4 , I wonder how that worked out for them seeing as how most of the people that believe the same way you do on these forums keep trying to knock the PS3 but it seemed like a good business decision to them and they crush CCP in sales and money earned . By what justification will the PS4 make more money than the PC when its a guarantee that nearly every EVE player will try the new game if it's on PC? Like it or not, the PC will give CCP the largest influx of capital initially. Port the PC version to PS4 in the future? Would be slick, but ethics aside, the PC makes the most sense financially over the PS4 right now, specifically because of EVE players.
Besides it's not like this is a shock, we knew this was their intention back in 2014

You are correct that PC will by far get a faster influx.
Let's not forget that CCP likely has millions of email addresses of PC players around the world who have done an Eve trial at some point in the last few years.
From a development stand point I see the PS4 as the easier option. The PS4 was built to be just like a PC but thanks to it being uniform across all players optimizing is 10x easier. When dealing with PC you have to optimize across millions of potential hardware configurations as well as an assortment of operating systems. Both directions have their trade offs.
I am cool with them going to PC, I just REALLY REALLY hope they don't do something stupid like try to make it in VR. |

Should they have announced sooner? I think so, but that doesn't mean they meant to "cheat" or "lie" to you.
Right or wrong, announcing new a new game is not a simple thing, and a lot of factors played into the decisions they made.

Actually SEGA owns SEGA. They are still around, technically. They are a myriad of smaller companies now under one massive holdings company. They just don't make consoles anymore. They have limited rights with sony, microsoft, and nintendo, but who worked on their last console project with them? And who released their own console after sega's failscaded? Microsoft..

The real brain dead people were the ones who spent money on a free to play game PC port or not. So many tards bought boosters thinking it was their gear limitations being the reason they got stomped. About a hundred bucks and 100 million SP later they soon realized that they just sucked and now they are mad at CCP. Put your money into a gym membership and you would have got better results without struggleing to get up from the couch for more mountain dew and Chinese food.

I do believe your justification is a little....unable to really make your point.
Destiny (the original game) Cost somewhere in the range of $59.99
If you bought the next two DLC's separate, they cost $20 each. Together was $30. (you were basically buying the game all over again considering the content was good for MAYBE a couple hours of game play at best)
Then they released TTK which was I believe somewhere between $49.99 and $59.99 (lets not take into account the special packs for any of the game including original content)
So yeah, because they are money hungry bastards, Bungie made a lot of money (more so due to the fact that they were literally robbing their customers)
The extra profit they pulled off PS3 just added a little extra for blow and hookers.
Regardless of the small margin of profit above consoles, PC game sales still lead by $1million last year (an increase from the previous year)
Also, this isn't a matter of PC Master Race vs Console Peasant (because any true gamer would use all platforms available) Its a matter of where CCP has most name recognition/knows what they are doing. Hate them all you want, bash them all you want but EVE Online is a great game, Valkyrie had me at hello (though I will wait for Sony VR before getting it because it's $200 cheaper than the Oculus)
Just let CCP work where they are comfortable and can actually properly manage their product.

Say what you will and justify any way possible but all of you people that talk about a dead tech , this company and i'm talking about Bungie , for whatever reason because you can make the same argument about CCP as well after going back on their words after removing BPO's , only to reintroduce them along with the war barge on a money making campaign that added a P2W feature in added damage and better high end gear , did the same thing that you accuse Bungie of doing and that's simply being money hungry .... took millions of their billion dollar project to invest in the PS3 for whatever reasons that you care to speculate while you have those who would call it dead tech , why would they do something so bold and put out a high end product that plays 100 times better then this game with not only drawbacks in its performance but set backs in having a small to none development team to add on while CCP took resources to go to several other projects . Keep making excuses i'm not going to go back and forth with any of you about this , it's moot but stop using the PS3 as an excuse as to what's hampered the development of Dust , that's all i'm saying but to talk to people who plug their ears when reason is evolved is just a waste of time to me . CCP didn't FORCE people to buy things and CCP didn't implement a P2W feature because it was 100% achievable by just playing the game. Also, the extra damage bonus was 1% per level (not really that much when you can put damage mods on that do 5% right off the bat)
Dust was always a dying on the PS3 because it was introduced so late in the PS3's life. CCP was BETA testing several ideas (which is why it was a F2P game) The success of it was one of the determining factors (I would image) for if they would continue on consoles or bring it to PC. Dust was fun and hell yeah I'd like to play it on my PS4, but we can get so much more out of the whole schematic on PC. Anyone who fails to realize that is just being selfish and borderline elitist.
