English isnt my favorite language :)
Compilated: its mean, i buy it and copy to my server and run (i cant do any changes in code, only restart server if crashed)
Not compiled - i can enter into code and do some changes, ex press X to quafe and make it tradable :)
p.s.
you easly can buy BF 4 server and invite friends ;)
p.s.2
we dont need use eve side to play dust (like FW with orbitals), we can play without eve side.

Why don't you like PCs? The PS3 basically is a PC. Just with an extremely restricted OS.
And you know... if you have to ask the dev for the code you probably wouldn't be able to create your own server anyways. If you want continue playing Dust and Dust alone do what the people from Save MGO did.

As a computer programer you have to know that ps3 and pc are have diferent code. Even if ccp gives you the code for free, i dub it you can do something to run into a alternative server

Not even to mention... who does he want to play it with? We currently have about 3000 players during peak times. Now if he were to create his own server he would have way less players.
First of all you would need to jailbreak your PS3 to connect to it. Then you have to consider that a big part of the community will just switch to the PC game. The remaining people would need to be interested enough in continue playing a game which won't change anymore to actually go through the hassle of making the needed changes to be able to play on his server. Then they would be in different time zones, further decreasing the amount of players.
In the end he would probably look at something like 30 people or so max who would still continue to play, even if he had the knowledge of coding and setting up his own Dust server. But to me it seems like he just made a few smaller and way simpler game projects and thinks he could handle this stuff... which he obviously can't if he has to ask for the code to create his own server to begin with.
