with the end of dust coming it finally dawned on me, after watching world of darkness get canceled, project legion never making it past the fetal stage and just about every other project other than eve falling apart at its seams, I've finally figured out what CCP actually stands for....
no no its not Crowd Control Productions....pffft!
its Can't Complete Projects.
ccp.......worst game developer ever.
this game makes me sad....

To be fair, the forum went in outrage over Legion and a big party of it was because how much we hates the design they presented at Fan Fest. We wanted them to start over with something more similar to Dust and that's what we got. It was obvious after the next big Dust 514 update (Uprising 1.9) that CCP shifted focus to trying to fix Dust as best as possible so they have a solid foundation to build the PC Version off of. They may be building from "scratch," but they are going to take everything they've learned since then with them.

this all sounds very positive and if it were coming from another developer it might mean something, however ccp has done nothing but spin every failure into some positive success they will achieve in the future and its gotten rather old....
like the boyfriend who tells his girl "i wont ever hit you again"
or the habitually late employee who says "this is the last time I'll ever be late"
their reputation with eve only carries them so far as a reliable and talented developer, and even that project has had serious issues and un-kept promises.
bottom line, there's more **** than Kool-Aid in the drink they're serving.
this game makes me sad....
